I think on the Nitro after Fall brawl he and Luger said they were fed up of being held back by Hogan and Flair and that they'd waited to long to be at the top of WCW. Although it wasn't mentioned I saw it as Sting/Luger who hadn't accomplished as much as Hogan/Flair, had never quite lived up to the promise shown 10 years ago and were running out of time to do so. Edit: I loved heel Sting and thought that Sting/Goldberg was a lock for Starrcade until Russo came in.

Filthy Animals started in October as heels when they attacked Ric Flair at Halloween Havoc, they turned face when they feuded with the Revolution and then in April were heels due to the New Blood thing, in the Summer they slowly turned face again. Edit: During the Revolution feud Eddie Guerrero and Kidman had a match and it seemed that Eddie was about to become heel(I think they were hinting at an Eddie/Torrie relationship), after that the Animals were off tv until the night after Starrcade.

Best and Worst Entrances and Music ever
deancoles replied to hbkhhhmark4life's topic in General Wrestling
Best Themes: Great Muta 89,Juventud Guerrera,Ultimo Dragon(the one he used as a heel),Sting's 1st and 3rd,nWo(even though it got used about 6 times a show in 98),Luger in 89,the Midnight Express remake that the NWA did and Vader's themes in WCW and WWF. -
Any one got a favourite radio Station? my favourite is WCTR just to hear Smoke talking about his orphanage and hearing Lazlow interview OG LOC
-
I like how the Radio Stations talk of things that you've done in the game such as Burning the Farm with the drugs, you and Catalina killing everyone and there's an interview with OG Loc talking about his rapping on one of the stations

Who was the 1st guy Sid Justice wrestled on WWF tv? I want to say it was a quick squash on Colonel Mustafa(remember a match on Superstars that went Mustafa sneak attack, Sid recovers to kick to the ribs, powerbomb) but I'm not sure.

First tip is to not even try going fast round corners as your car will just go out of control, you should also make sure your car doesn't go on the grass as it slows down your car.The key to winning is not speed but control, the other cars will hit something at least once during the race so make sure you capitalise on their mistakes. Also, you shouldn't really worry about your position in the race until your near the bridge at the end which is the best place to overtake.

Target the guys in Grove Street wearing green with R1 and press up. Edit: You get a tutorial in the Los Sepulcos mission.
-
The 1st time I saw it was in the OG Loc mission.
-
Does anyone else miss those taxis outside of hospital that used to take you back to your mission? In the Farewell, my love mission it really annoys me having to go back to the start place.
-
YES. NOTHING beats slicing and dicing up hillbillies with a fucking harvester. So very satisfying. trying to control the thing is horrible though, turning corners especially

It should be by the gym.

They used one for years, Lex Luger was Number 1 most of the time because of his US Title. Edit: Don't actually remember to many feuds based on the top 10 besides Luger/Steamboat.
-
The Drive Thru mission is my favourite so far, Smoke is great in this. I also like the Truth mission where you go to the farm
-
Agreed, the only surprise was Honky pinning Beefcake.
-
They'd probably do Warrior/Undertaker until they got Hogan to came back.
-
You can add most matches where a big star makes his Debut/Return in a promotion(Goldberg in WWE,Hogan in WCW and Warrior at WM 12)
-
Here's one that nobody will remember, Ravishing Rick Rude doing a promo on Worldwide saying "Vader you're a real role model..take off your shirt and model some rolls" This was during the Rude/Vader feud in 94 that was cut short by Rude's unjury.
-
Because Sid's contract promised him a Wrestlemania main event match. Edit: putting the Main Events back to back wouldn't have made much sense. They may have had to shorten one of the main events if any of the earlier matches had gone long.Instead Owen/Skinner gets cut down and everything goes ok.

Vader vs. Undertaker vs. Bret Hart vs. Steve Austin Bret Hart vs. Sid (cage Match) Bret Hart vs. Jean Pierre Lafitte(both matches) Razor Ramon vs. Rick Martel(include the battle royal as well) The Showster vs. Kurt Angle The Quebecers vs. The Steiner Brothers(Title Change) 1-2-3 Kid/Marty jannetty vs. Quebecers(Title change) Steiners vs. Money Inc(Cage match)

I really liked Superbrawl, everyone except Luger put in a lot of effort due to Kip Frye's $5000 dollars for best match thing.

What was up with Randy Savage being absent from WCW from about Novmember 96 until January 97? I heard his contract was about to expire so they took him off tv until he renewed it. I even think he was rumoured to be at Survivor Series 96 as a surprise partner in the spot that eventually went to Jimmy Snuka. Edit: Also, what ever happened to that Cruiserweight Tournament in WCW that was rumoured to happen in 98? it seemed like WCW was getting ready for one when they booked the title to change 4 times from Starrcade to Souled out.

I wish the chants for him were "let's go Bret" instead of "Bret Hart" repeated. I like the Piledriver as his Smackdown move, nice nod to his first run as a singles guy in 88. Edit: The introduction would have been better had fink done it, the way he dragged out the word Hitman was awesome. Surprised they didn't refer to Andre as the "8th wonder of the world" in his intro.
