Since we're talking about Perfect, it's not a debut vignette, but it's funny anyways. It's before his WM9 match against Lex Luger. He says something to the effect of "You want an unveiling, Luger? Here's what you'll look like when I'm done with you." He pulls back a curtain and there's a skinny pale kid in his underwear flexing. Perfect then chops the SHIT out of the kid, who screams and falls to the floor, and he just laughs. Awesome stuff.

I always forget, but is that the one where New Jack completely beat the shit out of a 16 year old for conning his way into the match and ends up fracturing his skull? The lesson is NEVER let New Jack blade you. The poor kid's head looked like a juice box being squeezed. I've never seen that, nor do I want to. Yuck. And isn't that kid dead now? New Jack is a scary, SCARY man.

They were 23-13-4 this year...they're a good team, but might have a tough draw since they're playing Denver in Colorado and then they'll probably have to play North Dakota, one of the best teams in the country. 3-1 Harvard near the end of the second.

I was watching a RAW from 1993 where the Steiners absolutely stiffed the SHIT out of their two jobber opponents. I know, I know, big surprise. Scott Steiner IMMEDIATELY grabs a full nelson and hits the SICKEST DRAGON SUPLEX _EVER_ to start off the match, and then follows with a few belly to belly suplexes and a double underhook powerbomb. Rick then comes in and clotheslines the SHIT out of the poor guy a few times before kneeing him, punching him, and finishing the beating with a double team bulldog for the pin. Then, there's the SICK beating in the Low Ki/Hit Squad vs. Special K match from Ring of Honor's Expect the Unexpected, which was pretty close to crossing the line...it was just SICK. Any others you can think of?

Is Matt Morgan even going to be on the regular roster anytime soon? Didn't they send him back to OVW to get better?

I mentioned it in the other thread, but I agree. The cartoonish/sports entertainment side of me likes it. "Now this story must be told!"

I tell you, the WWF put together some great video packages in 96-97, and even in early 98. (Unforgiven and Over the Edge are really good.) The Summerslam 1997 one that someone mentioned already ("If life was fair") is hands down one of the best ever. Wrestlemania 13 rocks as well, and it's better than anything on the actual card except for Austin/Hart.

The first PPV I remember him having the Motorhead theme was Royal Rumble 2001 and his match against HHH. So sometime around then. HHH has been called the Game since 1999, around June or July when his REALLY big push towards the world title as a heel was going on. For a while I thought they just called him that so he could be the one behind G-TV.

Can you think of any that come to mind? I just saw a Smoking Gunns vignette the other day from 1993, right before they debuted. It shows them pulling out guns, and then closeups on their hands as they rattle off shots and do gun tricks, then pull back again to show Billy and Bart. AWFUL vignette.

I never understood why they had to change Yang => Akio. Yang sounds good to me.
