Benoit has improved greatly on the mic and I'm just wondering if maybe his problem was mic time and relaxation. After HHH, who is the next heel in line? I mean, no chance in hell does Christian get a main event in the WWE. Orton still has the IC title so he's not next. Kane will be feuding with Edge it looks like so I doubt he's next in line. What happened to all the heels?? Both shows are just devoid of talented heels. I wouldn't say guys like Christian are UNTALENTED...he's just not bought as serious a heel as guys like HHH...which isn't much of a surprise.

I think the _way_ they put Benjamin over gives reason to hope there's more chance for Benjamin to get over than when HHH put over Storm, Taka, Hurricane, etc.

On the DVD they show Benoit yelling during a Nitro something about how there are a group of guys in the back who are sick of all the bullshit politics. When did this happen, and what brought it about? Was it a real shoot?

I think we're discounting Kane's abilities a little too much here. The man can SHOOT LIGHTNING AT PEOPLE, not to mention make the ringposts at the arena burst in flames. The man can do anything he wants, people.

Was there ever any major heat in WCW between Bret Hart and HBK's ex-clique buddies Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Sean Waltman? (Though Waltman left soon after Bret arrived) Anyone know of a site that has a complete listing of the Monday Night Wars ratings breakdown? What was the deal with Sting in WCW in 1997? He returned at Spring Stampede and finally wrestled Hogan at Starcade. Was it all angle? Was he injured?

On Nitro in 1997, 29 of the 52 TV main events ended in a no contest, DQ, or countout. In 1998, 33 of the 52 did. That's approximately 54% and 63% of the shows. Wow.
