  1. Does anyone remember their matches on RAW in 1998? The first was in March of 1998, right before WM14. The other was the night after Rock won the title at Survivor Series 98, and it's the match Taker breaks the shovel over Austin's head for the DQ - I've heard that's a pretty hot match. Anyone remember?
  2. It's a pretty stiff match. They really start to beat the crap out of each other near the end, and Shamrock quickly grabs the ankle lock for the submission. HHH vs. Flash Funk is pretty decent. Mankind vs. Rock is okayish (Rock definitely wasn't that good at this point, but Foley takes some nice bumps). Ahmed vs. NOD sucks for the most part. Vader vs. Shamrock is a decent stiff match. Austin/Taker is about ***, which is the high star rating for the show. So an okay show, and yes, it's hard to find, but definitely not impossible.
  3. The original booking was Bret Hart vs. Sid for the world title and Benoit vs. Jeff Jarrett for the US title. Hart and Jarrett were both injured for the show, so they just put Benoit vs. Sid.
  4. I just got World Tour 96 off ebay, so I'll post a review of the match when I watch it!
  5. It's a pretty slow match at first...Austin just holds Taker in a headlock for a while. The finish really picks up though, and is good. Probably about a *** match.
  6. I completely agree. I really like the match, though not as good as the others, and just watched it the other night. Probably ****. Along with a good Taker/Mankind match it makes up for the rest of the shit on that card.
  7. Eh, Steele just used his real name.
  8. Well, to be honest, me too, except for the part that involves Test being in the match. Hey, it could be worse...I.E - John Heidenreich.
  9. Here comes the happy Lance Storm.
  10. I like Stevie, so I won't mind a no-DQ match between them.
  11. They should have had all the babyfaces come from the back after Lesnar F-5-ed Austin on RAW and chased him away to get over the brand extension thing even more.
  12. Bischoff/Vince recap. ARRRGH.
  13. Nope. Total squash by Hardy.
  14. HEIGHT / WEIGHT: 5' 9'' 211 lbs REAL NAME: Chris Guy BIRTHDAY: January 25th 1973 HOMETOWN: Chicago Illinois
  15. That _is_ Ace Steele, right?
  16. It's still better than Chilly McFreeze.
  17. The fact that they don't see he could be super over as a face or a heel is ridiculous...
  18. He's facing Ace Steele! (Named Chris Guy)
  19. V.1! Matt's kitchen appliances are all stainless steel. Matt likes his eggs cooked over-easy.
  20. It'd be funny...but I'd rather have him as a badass heel. Being funny will just get him over as a babyface again.
  21. Here's the WWE.com preview: ---------------- This week on HEAT, the action gets red hot when Steven Richards and Test finally lock it up once again. They’ve been at each other’s throats for weeks and now you get to see them one on one during HEAT! Also, the quest to be the first to knock off World Tag Team Champions Rob Van Dam & Booker T continues when Rosey & the Hurrican face Garrison Cade & Mark Jindrak. Check out Lance Storm in singles action and Matt Hardy in singles action as well. HEAT will also take a look back at the events of RAW when Mr. McMahon and Eric Bischoff were supposed to square off in the Monday Night War, but a shocking interference ruined what was supposed to be the match of the night. Don’t miss it! Also, HEAT will show Jim Ross’s exclusive interview with Mick Foley. Start your WWE week off the right way with HEAT at 7/6 CT on Spike TV!
  22. This just in...John Henson is STILL not funny. Wrestlemania promo. It's 14 days away! Foley/Orton feud recap.
  23. J and C win it...Cade with a leaping bulldog from the second rope on Rosey for the pin.
  24. We've got Hurricane/Rosey vs. Jindrak/Cade right now. I haven't read any spoilers for this show, but I'm guessing Jindrak/Cade win it. We'll see. And can they please kill the Hurricane and Rosey gimmicks?
  25. Anyone watching?
