  1. Yo, Adam, WHAT is that smiley face doing? That's inappropriate, we're TV-14. If you don't have your stuff to me by 9PM Eastern, someone'll have to edit it in later.
  2. An airbag saved my life about three years ago. I had to meet someone for lunch, I was flying on not much sleep, and on the way home I forgot to buckle up. My mind wandered and I ran a red light, slamming into the front left side of the hood of a SUV. The guy ended up fine, his car just supn around a bit, but I was going at about 30 and God knows what would have happened, but for the airbag. I know there's the claims of people being injured because of them, but the concept isn't a bad one by any means. Anyway, I always buckle up, and for what it's worth I appreciate the law. The government is simply trying to protect you from yourself. The law is designed not to step on your rights, but to KEEP YOU ALIVE. I dig that. As for passengers, I don't force them to do it. I encourage it, but I also hit them with the caveat that if I get the ticket (to my understanding, in MN, the driver is liable), they're paying. That usually works.
  3. Well, I just got my interview set up. 10 Am Tuesday (Central). Wish me luck!
  4. But...but it doesn't make any sense...
  5. I don't know, CC, *will* he be there? Dun dun dun....
  6. My eyes are dark brown.
  7. Show will eminate from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Have your stuff into me by about 9 Eastern Thursday, as per the norm.
  8. So...we don't like the new logo, then. Bastards.
  9. I'm surprised too.
  10. NYU -- If you can go to bat for someone else, talk to me. A certain C...wait, that's too obvious. Let's call him Mr. W. M....anyway, he mentioned an interest in coming back to the OAOAST in some capacity, but wanting something like this in effect. So, yeah. Catch either him or me on IM and fill us in. And if I had a uterus, yada yada your babies etc. etc.
  11. No you didn't. You just brought him back with a glowing exterior. He still lost. What the heck are you talking about? Of course he lost; he's a jobber. But he was brought back and you're going to have to live with that. Keep in mind you "killed off" a communal character without thinking if anyone else might ever want to use him ever again. We did. He got brought back, end of story. Keep it up and I'm throwing like four more title belts into the pool.
  12. Damn hippie.
  13. *MARKS THE FUCK OUT~!* I laughed so hard during that exchange I cried.
  14. Phenom, I covered the death and resurrection of Phoenix.
  15. Hans is a great guy, but he cal also be a little crazy. I gotta say, my own WDI vacation has been nice.
  16. I'm more than happy to help. I'd rather have a smaller role, what with the OMG STEEL CAGE MATCH and all, but I can do whatever is needed.
  17. Well, I don't have it just yet. But thank you.
  18. Thank you, thank you all. I do what I can.
  19. But he wouldn't sell very well at all, unless Ryan Smith was buying. ZING~!
  20. Wow. Anyway, if the lockout ends anytime soon, which it won't, I'd imagine I'd be responsible for some. Hockey's a game I know well but don't really care for, but covering it wouldn't be an issue, no. As for locale, there's an office I'd be working from, but it's entirely possible to do from home, I've seen it done. I think I'd have more leeway on weekends as far as that goes. Frankly, I like the idea of a sports news office. They have HDTV and TiVo and all sorts of shit. Plus the dress code is, in its entirety, "no vulgar sayings on clothes." It's nice.
  21. I hear the main event is gonna sell big tickets. That's just what I heard. Still, Target Center is the way to go.
  22. With their Anglepalooza cage match merely ten days away, Chris Stevens will undoubtedly try to get into Hoff's head! Meanwhile, Hoff is still looking to wreak havoc! Who will he take it out on? Will he even get his hands on ANYONE? Tune into this week's HeldDOWN~ to find out!
  23. Not so much. Try the Target Center. I realize it's fantasy and all, but between the downswing in wrestling's popularity and the fact that it's not a "major" PPV, I think 20,000 in the Target Center is more realistic than 60,000 in the Dome. Plus, the Target Center is like 1000 times nicer.
  24. Because I like you I won't kill you. Good to know. I'm sorry, but there's something about her. She's got a little of the whole Olsen Twins-frog-face-thing going. She's cute and all, pretty eyes, but not my cup o' tea. You probably don't want to hear my thoughts on Charlize Theron, either.
  25. THREE-SPORT SUPERSTAR. When you consider I'm not big on basketball and haven't closely followed baseball for a few years, it's a somewhat scary thought. But it's not exactly splitting the atom and I know enough about how the sports work to make it. Apparently, the editor liked my writing sample, and it I do well on my interview (assuming I get one), the general feeling my buddy who works there gets is that the job is mine. So yay! It's not much, it's just newsbreakers and MAYBE an occasional feature article, but the pay is good and it's work I'd like to do, what with it being writing, and sports, and writing about sports. I'm actually excited about the fact that the job woul FORCE me to pay more attention to basketball and baseball aain, because I do like those sports. Football...if I paid any more attention I might start missing work. Heh.
