It's kind of hard to explain or discribe why something is or isn't entertaining. Like, ok, it might be deep or thematic or whatever, but it's still boring. I just don't find Darla fascinating. Brooding Angel also does nothing for me.

Him is cool because it's a wacky monster of the week ep and there's like none of those in S7. Him is what S7 was supposed to be like. It's nice to have an ep that isn't 45 minutes of everyone sitting at Buffy's house freaking out because the First is coming. The last scene alone is worth the ep, since it's so funny. The really bad thing about Him is that in about 2 minutes they completely dropped everything they had done in Selfless and doomed Anya to the world without arcs. Potential is REALLY boring. What could be worse than an episode based on Dawn and her friend? The other scoobies do NOTHING. There's no interesting sub-plots or any particularly funny scenes with Andrew or anyone else. At least most of the time with a lame S7 episode I can count on Emma and Tom to bring the funny and make it worthwhile. There is almost nothing here. Nothing but Dawn and SITs. The Killer In Me is also horrible. The Willow becomes Warren storyline is just too weird and nobody likes Kennedy. Spike's chip subplot is too little, too late. The saving grace is the minor bits of funny the others bring with that little story about Giles being the First. I also deeply hate Sleeper and Never Leave Me. Once again Emma and Tom save the day. literally everything else is awful and boring. I couldn't care less about crazy/emo Spike which takes up 90% of the ep. Then of course there's the awful Ubie series of eps, Bring on the Night and Showtime. Do I even need to point out how these suck? The ubie just sucks. Something happened after CWDP. The span of Sleeper to Get it Done is horrible. It's easily the worst span of episodes in the history of the Whedonverse. It was up to Espenson to save us with the amazing Storyteller(AGAIN, Emma and Tom are heroes). This span of eps is so pathetic the best one is First Date, which is kinda sorta halfway decent at best. Then RIGHT AFTER Storyteller is another series of pure crap, with Dirty Girls to End of Days. If you want to blame anything for Chosen being too short it is these 4 eps. They have 4 hours and thye do almost NOTHING. Besides the "lets kick Buffy out" story, which ends up going no where, none of these eps mean anything. Caleb comes and goes and ends up being completely irrelevant. Everyone sits around and talks about how bad things are going to be. The syche and guardian are completely irrelevant. The whole thing is a huge waste of 4 hours. The scoobies turn on Buffy, yet we never get a scene where they apologize and welcome her back. Buffy and Giles' relationship is strained but we never get a scene where they make up. Nothing is resolved. Instead we get lots of Kennedy and exposition about stuff that doesn't matter. Thanks a lot Joss, for introducing that Guardian chick. She sure brought a lot to the story. Oh wait, no she didn't. The writers can't even decide what to do. It pisses me off how Xanya seemingly get back together, then do nothing in End of Days, then are back together in Chosen again. MAKE UP YOUR MIND. You can't even figure out what's going on with the scoobies at the end because everything is so inconsistent. But......yeah....Chosen sort of already is 2 hours. Actually more like 3. Touched, End of Days and Chosen are all connected. The only difference is it's not called Chosen pt 1, Chosen pt 2 and Chosen pt 3. I don't think the actual final battle needed more time. At least not a whole other hour.

I wish I had season 7 now. But I think I've decided "Potential" is the worst episode ever. I am playing Halo 1 now and Foe Hammers just said "I read you, 5 by 5"!!!!!

OMG, Julie Benz does voice work in Halo 2. Shroud of Rahman is cool. I like Joe Don or whatever.
-
LAME! Giles is in like 11 episodes! That sucks so much. I knew that would be it, but am still really mad.

Yes, boring. Angel doesn't have nearly the repeat watchability of Buffy. Angel brooding over Darla is boring. Darla herself is a very boring villain. She isn't threatening or funny. The whole story of him dreaming about her is extremely boring. I do like Blood Money, Happy Anniversary and Thin Dead Line. 3 eps in the middle of that arc where she is gone. Holland is the best thing about that whole arc.

Angel season 2 is boooring. Darla sucks.

I know, and I still do think a bunch of it sucks and that it was a huge letdown. I could rant about it ALL DAY if I had someone that would listen. But still, it's BUFFY. Even terrible Buffy is still really good. I like the characters too much. Even though the stories suck and make like no sense I still enjoy seeing the scoobies. Plus it's kind of fresh. I've seen the other stuff so many times it's just like stale now, but with S7 it's still kind of new. I've only seen most of the eps 3 or 4 times. I change my mind a lot after time passes. I used to not like OMWF that much. Xander used to be my favorite character for a long time. I will always think s7 has tons of problems, but I do kind of like watching it.

I got it last midnight and have already beaten it. The single player campaign is ok. I agree with Chris though, some of the huge scenes just kind of fall flat. They're not bad, but they're not really spectacular either. The ending is a huge downer.

I've been watching season 7 on FX again. I think I might actaully.....SORT OF...like it.
-
Region 1 dvd art for Angel S5.... I like it. 6 days away from Buffy season 7 and still no pictures of the disc art. That just sucks.
-
I beat all the challenges. Besides the Rock outfit, you also get something like 10,000 points to use for a CAW and the legend movesets unlocked.
-
I just beat the game. The climax is really awesome. It's one of the most cinematic missions in the series.

I watched NMR the other week on DVD. I always thought the ep was kind of pointless. There was no need to bring Oz back just to have him leave again. It's also lame how they break into the Initative for the millionth time. It's supposed to be this highly guarded top secret facility but a college girl and her friends seem to have no problem getting inside. The hand slap scene with Giles and Anya is funny though. I watched "Beneath You" today. It....sucks. So boring and pointless. That whole crazy Spike storyline sure went no where fast. Emma's clothes and hair in that ep and Lessons is awful. It makes her look 10 years older.

Midway and Capcom, for MAT2 and the Megaman collection. Collections of games I actually care about. I really don't care for old school stuff like Galaga.
-
It has some good parts. Spike's death is really good. The face off between FE/Caleb and Buffy in the basement is creepy. The scene where the main scoobs talk and then seperate one by one in the entrance to the school is good. Andrew's really funny. The battle is decent. Not much is really that BAD either, it's mostly just kinda....decent. It's one of the best eps in the season.

Chosen doesn't really need an extra hour. More like 30 minutes or something. The overall story is told fine, it's just some details that need more time. Like Dawn does NOTHING. Andrew has a bigger role than her. Anya has like 6 lines in the entire episode and besides dying horribly does nothing. Same with Xander, except instead of dying in 2 seconds he talks to Andrew in just about the same amount of time. These characters needed better scenes alone. They could have done it just with some editing. Like the Buffy/Angle scene goes on too long. They could have done a better job with the build too. Like I don't understand the point of the Dawn/Xander stuff in End of Days. Joss did nothing with it, besides a dumb joke. I also didn't get the point of the Spike "what a bitch" cliffhanger in End of Days. Also, important to me, is how badly the Xanya ship is handled in the end. It's almost like each writer had their own views on how it should end. Espenson got them talking again but left it up in the air if they were over or not. Then nothing happens for a while, until Touched where they have break up sex again. Then nothing in End of Days. Then in Chosen they're seemingly back together again. WTF? Which is it? If anything needs another hour it's NFA. There is like no fight scenes! They spend 50 minutes building to it, then show these really cool intros to the fight scenes, then it's just over. The final battle is just a big montage of the beginnings of some fights.

Not Fade Away is better than Chosen as an episode, but I like Chosen more because it's buffy and I care about the characters a lot more.
-
Oh yeah, I forgot about the scene where Buffy walks down the hall before the final battle. There's also an extended scene with FE/Caleb and Buffy, but it's just a couple extra lines. I wish I still had a copy of the shooting script for Chosen. FX is starting season 7 again today. I think I will watch Selfless one last time on TV before the DVDs come out. I don't think it's fair to say SMG doesn't care about her fans or Buffy because she didn't do commentary. A lot of actors didn't do commentary. Up until recently Seth was the only one to do them. Aly, Tony Head, Michelle Trachtenberg and Emma never did them either.
-
I don't think Chosen actually has any deleted scenes, besides Wood and Giles smoking together.

Amber was near the beginning and the end, Juliet was near the end. It was like 30 seconds of them. Yeah, I just aw her too. I am watching this again from start to finish to see if anyone else is on.

OMG! I am watching this top 100 best horror movie show on Bravo and Juliet Landau was on.
