Well, after some thought, and coming to the realization that the team lacks Canadians, the Komijul goes a bit out on the limb and selects... Justin Morneau!

Doesn't thepinjockey manage Serenity in most TSM fantasy leagues? And I am guessing by the name that Rebels of Oakland would probably be Bored.
-
Time for the Komijul to add to our infield, we are going for... Adam Dunn!
-
Yeah. This is really fast paced. I have 2 players today, and I expect to get a whole 3 tomorrow! Maybe the real draft will even start by the weekend! In all seriousness, the draft should move faster when the real draft starts up, I am guessing. It will certainly move a bit faster than these rounds anyway.

After some thought, Komijul takes: Carlos Zambrano
-
I am going to go with Manny Ramirez.

Actually, I wasn't here last season. I was in the AL and NL only leagues, but not the head to head league.
-
I don't know if it would be the best ever, but I vaguely remember a Hardy Boyz vs. Raven/Justin Credible match being quite enjoyable.
-
I liked the NBA Draft as well. It gave me some time to figure out exactly who was still available before my pick came up.

It looks like Travis Henry may be on his way to the Cardinals... link

I disagree. Houston drafted him with a 6th round pick, and traded him to Dallas for a third round pick in this draft. Trading a 6th round pick for a third round pick is a pretty good move on Houston's end. Assuming the 3rd rounder pans out, it could end up being a major steal for them. As for Dallas, they probably shouldn't have made that trade.

Three of my favourites: In a tag match which, I believe, was Scotty 2 Hotty & Brian Christopher vs. Raven & Tazz, Scotty is going for the Worm on Tazz. He's hopping around on one leg, so Raven just walks right up, kicks him in the gut, and Evenflow DDT's him for the victory. Also, in a Tajiri-Scotty match, Scotty was about to come down with the Worm Chop, but promptly got blasted in the face with Tajiri's mist. Tajiri finished it with the big kick for the victory. Brock vs. Randy Orton. Orton hit a flying cross body, but Brock rolled through it, and hit the F-5 for the victory.

I'd like to be in, if there is a spot open...

I think a better question is: "Who in the hell actually thought this movie would make $100 million+?" I can see making this movie if it had a reasonable budget that a decent showing at the theatre and DVD could make up, but $100 million?!? That's just crazy.

It isn't Velocity, but he was squashed by Essa Rios on Jakked/Metal. I miss those days. I will never forget when I saw Low Ki on there. He looked pretty awesome with what offense he was able to get in the match. Good times. Also, Batista(as Leviathan) was supposedly on there, though I can't seem to find out who squashed him.
-
Also, didn't Booker just get married recently as well? If that's the case, you could probably cross him off too.

I am no expert, but I believe it means "Royal."

Around Hall of Fame voting time, I always hear about players who should be in the Hall of Fame but are never voted into it. This always made wonder if there are any Hall of Famers who were elected into the Hall of Fame, even though they don't really meet the standards. So, I was curious if there are any Hall of Famers who you feel aren't worthy of being there? And, if so, who?

Well, for one, I don't play that many RPG's(besides those five, I can only think up maybe 5 more that I even ended up completing.) As for why I liked it, I found the whole "RPG parody" thing to be quite humorous, like going up to some random villager, and they tell that they wish they had a voiceover or complaining about these adventurers always stealing their stuff. ot to mention, I loved the argument that two of the female got into in the game, which is probably why I rated it so high. I'll admit that the game had several flaws. For instance, I can't remember the ending at all, and I remember they wasted too much time on things that ended up never going anywhere (Like when they tried to build a relationship between two of the supporting characters, even wasting an entire cut scene on it, only to never mention it at the end.) I just view it more as a comedy RPG, which covers up a lot of its faults in the story to me. Besides, I had a lot of fun playing it, which is something I can't say for a lot of games I played. Maybe I rated it too highly, but it served its purpose for me.

After learning why the Pirates are called the Pirates, I always find it funny when the Pirates are crying poor or complaining because other teams take their players. For those curious: http://www.sportsecyclopedia.com/nl/pittpirates/pirates.html Nickname: Pirates became the team's nickname after it started signing players from other teams. Well, that would sum up Arizona's offseason nicely. I don't see the big deal, really. There were some bad contracts going around this year, but I can't see it really changing things. The Pirates usually don't keep their good players anyway, and a league average pitcher will only get $7 million if a team is stupid enough to pay it. If anything, I see a lot of these bad signings biting teams in the ass, and those same teams going back to crying poor again a few years down the road after they are still in the cellar of their division. That just seems par for the course in baseball.

I am not terribly surprised about this. I know, a few years back, I would often run into a few annoying reviewers that felt the need to mention how great FFVII was at least once a review. Also, if something in the game they were reviewing had even a slight resemblance to something in FFVII, they just HAD to point it out. Like, "OMG! This one random enemy vaguely resembles something in FFVII! THIS GAME IS A FFVII RIPOFF!" It was unintentionally hilarious, if, at times, insufferable. Of course, as someone who extremely disliked FFVII, I am glad that times have, apparently, somewhat changed. anyway, my top 5: 1) Suikoden II 2) Thousand Arms 3) Legend of Legaia 4) Wild Arms 2 5) Final Fantasy X

Senator Wants Boxing Gloves on Chickens
Der Kommissar replied to Der Kommissar's topic in General Chat
Whoops. Not sure how I missed that. Feel free to delete. -
Link I don't know. There is something about the mental image of chickens wearing boxing gloves that just seems so...wrong.

I hate people who feel the need to tell me that the kind of music that I listen to "sucks," then feel compelled to tell me that I should listen to something "good" like Nickelback, Linkin Park, or Limp Bizkit.
