Wow. Of course, I'd probably buy it as well. If I had cable, that is. I'll do like I've always done with TNA, buy it hoping that it will live up to it's potential and then bitch and moan when it doesn't live up to it.

Smells like shit to me.

I like the committee idea, but put some names on there that would be regulars. They don't have to be their all the time, but make it similar to the NWA committees in the Flair DVD. As for Russo leaving, I'm not surprised. I can't blame him, and I can't resist blaming him.

I wonder if the guy on the right got a real Black Flag tattoo just for this party? -
Isn't there also a verse in the New Testament that says not to forsake the gathering of believers? If not, I'm going to have to kill my mom for quoting it to me so much.

For Chaosrage: I myself believe that before the flood, there was only one continent. As you know, it's called Pangaea(sp?). The flood was caused by water rising from the Earth, which could help to seperate the continents and would eventually seperate into oceans. If you read, you'll see that before the flood there was no rain. The resulting moisture from the flood creates the moisture in the air and we have rain. This, of course, is my own theory which has no scientific backing. It's just what I like to think. The discussion on Church: Some churches meet twice a week (as far as I can tell mostly evangelical protestants.) This tradition started in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries here in the U.S. People would ride to church from miles around, and stay in the afternoon for lunch at another churchgoers house, or at the church. Before they would leave to go home, they would meet to pray for a safe journey. This is not as necessary anymore, as most people live within fifteen minutes of their church, but since it's tradition it's maintained. Which annoys the shit out of me.

The thing with bringing in Hall and Nash is the same as bringing in Hogan. People who watched WCW back in the day will see them on TV and go "Dude, what? Kevin Nash and Scott Hall? I remember when they fucking rocked! They should retire." I swear, when Hogan was back in WWE, I heard that about twice a week in the dorms. Not to mention that Hall looks like what he has been.... an out of shape alcoholic. And Kevin Nash is lucky his neck doesn't go out when he flips his hair.

To get back to more of the wrestling talk, I actually think that starting with a southern style would have helped TNA. Not saying that they should stick with it, but considering where they started, and where they stayed for two years it might have worked for them. I know a lot of guys who like southern style (having lived in Tennessee for four years) and they would like it much more than what TNA has put out. They should've used the Southern style booking with the innovative product. Of course, anything beats a midget beating off in a trash can.

Even more proof that the Spear is not a legitimate finisher. The whole show sounds shitty. Lots of JJ, lots of squashes. Maybe ONE match I would really want to see.(AMXX/Naturals) But that's because I'm a huge Naturals mark. Hopefully, the NWA Title tournament will turn this show around.

It's not really an insult, I just said I've been wanting Monty to work with a veteran like Raven. It was more just a reason for me to throw a gay porn joke at WMD, which he threw back in my face. That's the end of that. Anyhow, I think that no matter whether it's JJ/Brown or JJ/Hardy, it's still a disappointing main event. No true name in the lights to get the attention of the casual fan, even if Raven is on the card. They waited WAY too long to switch to the monthly PPV style.

I think DK insulted me a bit in his first post. Bastard. Nope, it will be your's for keeping Hardy up all night watching gay porn. (Does anyone else think the description of the folder needs to change? "Home of the X Division.... and some of the most unique offense on TV today"? How about "Home of the X Division... and some of the most uniquely offensive TV today.")

I don't know, Hardy has a history of good ladder matches. This could, of course, be because of his opponents, but I'm willing to give him a bit of credit when a ladder is involved. Jarrett, on the other hand, always botches gimmick matches. I'm not saying it's going to be great, but I want to give Hardy just a bit of credit if it would be a ladder match.
-
I think if they made Jarrett vs. Hardy a ladder match, it would benefit Hardy more than Jarrett. Of course, though, Jarrett will ruin it by being sluggish. I've been wanting Monty Brown to work with someone the caliber of Raven for a while. Though Raven's mostly a brawler, and not in his prime, his knowledge of how to put together a match could help Monty look better. Here's hoping Brown actually gets to do something other than squash matches, as they don't develop him much if any at all. AJ and Petey Williams would be good. I have about 3 or 4 other guys I'd prefer to see going for the X belt, but I can't complain. I would much rather see the Naturals vs XXX in the tag title match, but TNA has a hard on for AMW, so we're stuck with them. Hopefuly they'll give us a 2/3 falls match, as that would be unique for a tag team match. I don't want to see an old timer's match, but knowing TNA we'll get one. I myself would love to see Siaki, D'Lo, Kid Kash, and some others on the PPV. I would prefer less matches, though, as that would mean TNA really is WCW 2004.

I agree with Laz. They should claim a territory and travel around to build an audience. Staying in Nashville and then moving to Florida was a horrible idea.

Andy Douglas and Johnny Devine injured in
TheBigSwigg replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in TNA Wrestling
That would mean people would actually have to watch the show. And we know that no one does that. -
I'm pretty sure you watch it enough, though. *Thinks that WMD wants an Abyss gay porn tape now* -Side note- Loss is gay? That explains the old Madonna Avatar. Wow. (Not that that's bad Loss, I'm just surprised.)

It happened when we wouldn't stop posting in the Sir Knight thread. Lots of "Bob Saget Loves You!" shit.

Flip? I thought that was normal.

Random question: Did Douglas ever wrestle under another name? -
I know that had no creativity. It's just like every single one of your posts. Besides, it's hard getting used to being "TheBigSwigg" again.
-
Wow, I really, REALLY missed out by not signing on the past few days. And yes, LFV is fucking retarded. *Black Hole Slam's LFV* And TNAmark looks so gay. I mean, he has no Avatar and no signature.

Did you ever see the old X-Men cartoon where Apocalypse found the center of time and rounded up all the psychic mutants to rewrite history? (okay, that's just how I remember it. It may have been a bit different.) Time was laid out like a outer space microfilm machine. That's similar to how God sees time. God isn't watching what we're doing right now, necessarily. He's not moving through time as we are, he's outside of it. That's how he knows, in my opinion. To be honest, comics and comic characters have done an amazing God helping me understand my faith. Read the Sandman and you'll get the idea of how God cannot break his rules even though He's the one that made them. Breaking those rules would, in effect, negate everything God is. God made it so that those who don't accept Christ and live sinful lives will spend eternity away from Him. If He changed that, it's likely the universe would fall apart as God cannot lie or break His own rules. I hope that made sense

I predict Marc Mero will fight Jarrett for the title at Victory Road.
