Brad Meltzer writes this new JLA ongoing. Batman/Wonder Woman/Superman rebuild the league after that whole Infinite Crisis/One Year Later/Omac Project/RannThanagar War fiasco.

The Mighty Avengers... Maybe this might be the "pro registration side". I like how they're going to keep the "New Avengers" team more conspiracy based, and "mighty", will be more worldwide, big action. Dream rosters? For "mighty", I'd take Iron Man, Yellow Jacket, Ms Marvel, and a revived Hawkeye.

I Shit You Not Okay, he was OFFERED the role, but let the discussion begin.

I actually liked this movie and didn't find it as horrible as others did. Here's my thoughts. The Good -The idea that the XMen really are screwed. Losing Jean, Cyclops, and Prof X is a big deal. Even though it deviated from the comics, I liked the direction the team was going in, Wolverine and Storm heading the ship. -Iceman coming off like a pussy who is more "defensive". I liked that take on the character, and I liked how he Iced up at the end and walloped on Pyro. Would have liked to see more than a headbutt, though. -the opening young jean gray scene. I don't know why, but it was a great way to start the movie. - Beast. I was skeptical, but his action scenes were GOLD. -Ditto on shadowcat. I think I have a slightly pervy crush on her. The Bad - I agree with an earlier poster that this should have been two movies. Phoenix and The Cure were two HUGE themes that felt very compressed when put together in one movie. - Why shove Angel down our throats as the big definitive scene in the trailers, have him in all the magazines posing with the other X teens, give him a great backstory (self mutilation) and then give him 3 lines and maybe 5 minutes of screen time? - Bad script equals Bad Acting, but God bless Hugh and Halle for giving it their best. I'll probably come up with some more later.

This trailer is the best so far. I'm now confident Superman will destroy X3. Those are quite strong words, Jonathon. You mean quality-wise (could happen) or box office-wise (doubt it)? Quality-wise. Word of mouth for X3 might hurt the numbers later on, while Supermans word of mouth might/could be better, thus a bigger return later.

I cracked up during the second half of this.

Ghostbusters! I'd make Peter Venkman a washed up, drunk, has-been loser of a 'buster, who's best days are behind him, but he's still got that incredible wit. Egon Spengler I'd make an ex-Navy Seal computer guru. A white Ultimate Nick Fury crossed with the mind of Reed Richards. Ray Stanz I'd make the "rookie". Fresh faced young kid who was FDNY before a sexual harassment suit made him leave the department. Winston Zeddmore. The hero. Strong religious upbringing, a family man. Black Captain America. He's on all the billboards and does all the PR stuff. His life is seemingly perfect.

I always wanted that to be the "bigger picture theory".... I hope that they run with that idea and not that

Now THAT sounds like a motherfucking season FINALE.

Uh, the link just points to some dudes toy collection.

I'd throw Bizarro in that mix.

Just rewatched it and realized the music during the Warren Worthington scene blew.

Looks pretty good...Dialogue scenes with Beast and Logan play out nicely, Grammar actually carries himself pretty well as Beast. Anybody else see it?
-
Perhaps the ferry was the boat that Friendly and the Others were on when they kidnapped Walt.

I'm calling a Logan suicide.

Absolutely loved this. Millar has been my favorite writer for some time, and I'm glad he's been given the "keys to the kingdom", so to speak, and is trusted to handle Marvels big crossover. Yeah, Cap surfing the jet fighter was a bit unrealistic, but it got a geeky grin out of me. Damn, NO ONE writes a better Cap than Millar. Give me a McNiven/Millar Cap series.

I feel this way when I watch most of Season 2.

The significance of Libby holding the blankets was that she was getting them for the picnic for her and Hurley, since he forgot to bring them for their date. I don't think it was something to be read into too much.
