Scorpion King was his first big hit, honestly his only true hit movie...until this one\
-
sorry, I completely brainfarted on two of his wins, I was going off the top of my head.
-
While he's always entertaining, dude talks way too much shit that only boasts a 50% record in the UFC (4-4)

I don't have a problem with what they make, but it is a little annoying hearing someone bitch about only making a couple hundred k per fight, when I'm making nine bucks an hour. So it's hard to feel like Randy's being taken advantage of

I wouldn't mind seeing Tito go. Dude cannot put anyone away named Shamrock...seriously, other than the overly beatable Ken Shamrock he has not finished anyone since 2001. Not even Cote

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

I don't think Henderson should get a second automatic title shot before getting any wins in the UFC. They don't sound like money fights, but Kampmann could be in the title picture, Leites too. With a win again maybe Mike Swick. I love Henderson, but I don't like guys getting title shots right away. And it sucks, but PRIDE is dead, there's nothing to unify. -
ugh, I hate watching shows with people talking about MMA who know nothing about it. On PTI Michael Wilbon was ripping on Randy and saying how Rampage was able to beat both him AND Chuck at a lighter weight, bitch bitch, no one watches the UFC.

I think guys should have to win 2 in a row before being considered for a title shot -
Is anyone else getting the COM Surrogate has stopped working message over and over again?

WTF? Do you even know who Nogueria is? (Don't mean to be an asshole) Very much so, I just don't like guys being thrown into the title picture with zero or one fight on their UFC sheets. I love Silva and Rampage, but thought they should have had to get a couple of UFC wins before getting title shots.

Dunno what to think yet. They're going to break out sooner than later, since it's a forgone conclusion I'd rather they not dick around with it as long as they did in season one. The tattoos are useless now, so we'll probably see Michael in long sleeves as much as possible. I found it laughable that Heroes and Prison Break both did their "What's in the box!" episode on the same night

I agree that the top guys are way overpaid, while as the lower guys are insanely underpaid. ONLY $200,000 a fight? Really? Only? I'm not ripping on Randy, but as a fan I would love to see him stick around a while longer. And I can also imagine that Dana would be a prick to negotiate with

Dana's response from UFC.com “I’m not surprised at all by Randy’s decision. I talked to Randy several weeks ago and he said that if he couldn’t fight Fedor, then he has nothing left to prove in the sport of mixed martial arts. He has been doing a lot of acting, and I know he is in South Africa right now filming a movie. I think it’s a great move for Randy’s acting career to retire from fighting while he is on top. As we all know, Randy retired before. The landscape in MMA changes every day. So when he is ready to come out of retirement again, he is still under contract with me, and I’m ready to promote him.”

If they do a mini tourney who is in? Kongo, Andre, Tim, and Vera?

First new South Park I've watched in a couple of years. Just a so-so episode, but to agree with Mik, Bono's "Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeahs!" while entering every room were the funniest moments of the episode

Couture quits UFC by Dave Meltzer The Fight Network has just reported that Randy Couture has quit the promotion, vacating his heavyweight title and leaving his job as a color commentator. Couture, who works for The Fight Network itself, so there is no way they are going to miss on this story, wrote a letter from South Africa where he's filming the Scorpion King movie, to Dana White. Not getting a match with Fedor Emelianenko played a part in his decision. The decision was made when it became clear the match with Fedor wasn't happening. It is known Couture was one of the top UFC fighters who was unhappy when reading about the huge money guaranteed in the company's offers to Emelianenko, because he felt he and a few others were the fighters who helped build the current popularity and they weren't getting guaranteed income for fights anywhere near that level, particularly since they were bigger drawing cards. With the decline of Chuck Liddell, Couture was likely the company's biggest short-term drawing card, and without question, was its most popular fighter. We will have more on this story later.

ROH Boston/Jersey Weekend (now with results)
Youth N Asia replied to Hawk 34's topic in General Wrestling
I am happy for Nigel. But he seems like a very beatable champion, I don't expect a long run here -
I don't know how it happened, but FF7 gets serious money on ebay now

While Cavemen isn't really "bad"...there are no jokes there. I understand that yes, there were jokes, but nothing to laugh at. I watched half of the first Mullett's episode cause I didn't realize that Smakdown was ending early for it. That was the worst piece of film ever committed to the TV screen
