  1. Well, she did look her best in seasons 2-3. It's just how it is, don't get me wrong, she's still great to look at.
  2. http://www.reviewjournal.com/lvrj_home/200...s/24563778.html Trouble-prone football star Lawrence Phillips apparently hit rock bottom in Las Vegas. Phillips, an NFL bust after helping Nebraska to consecutive national titles in the mid-1990s, walked into a downtown Las Vegas pawnshop not long ago and sold one of his Big Eight championship rings for $20. "He said he was stuck in Las Vegas," said Steve Gibson, owner of Steve's Buy & Sell, 625 Las Vegas Blvd. South. "He said, `I need to get out of town.' " Gibson, who turned around and sold the ring on eBay for $1,700, said he tried to talk Phillips out of selling it. "I thought about giving him $20, but he would have just walked down the street and sold it." Phillips, the sixth player taken in the 1996 draft, by the St. Louis Rams, ran afoul of the law throughout his pro career. Phillips told Gibson he tried to hawk the ring "at every pawnshop from Tropicana to downtown," but nobody was interested because it was not gold. "His name was on the side of the ring, but I didn't believe it was him until I saw his driver's license," Gibson said. ---------------------------------- This sounds very pathtic
  3. I just saw that myself. Glad they loaded up with commentaries. And they got Nick Brendon, James Marsters, Tom Lenk, and TV Superstar Danny Strong for some.
  4. Eddie Murphy: Raw 7 out of 10 Great opening, great ending, but the middle drags.
  5. Chris is so old his memory is in black and white.
  6. I've never been a loyal VH1 viewer or anything, but I'd flip past there while channel surfing and nothing else was on. But it's way too much like MTV now, they've took off almost all of the music. But instead of crappy game and dating shows it's just bad comedy. A2Z, I love the 90s, best week every, blah blah blah...it's just the same bad comedians telling the same jokes, and all of them have the exact same sense of humor. It must honestly take nothing to get the "comedian" tag under your name on that channel. It's just an unwatchable station now...not like it was much better to begin with. Another case of "this works...now let's do it over and over and over..."
  7. Sabu as a sign language instructor Tajiri as a meter maid. "Come on man, I was just a minute--" *Tajiri spits green mist in his eyes*
  8. Interesting concept, bad execution. I didn't like the idea that it implies that every white person is rich and well off and every black person is dirt ass poor. Crackers are poor too.
  9. Everyone loved the movie when it was this indy sensation, and then hated it after it went huge. I for one really liked the movie and it was a hell of an idea. Too bad.
  10. Happy birthday man, these old jokes are tired anyway. Oh wait, I'll type louder so you can hear me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!
  11. Signs 8.5 out of 10 I know a lot of people poo poo on the ending, but even with that the whole buildup is fantastic
  12. What's the announcement...spoiler tags. The two tag matches look good. But Dupree is just done with me. They gave him a ton of tv time when he got his push and he never impressed me.
  13. Wrestlepalooza might be my favorite show from start to finish.
  14. In The Heat Of The Night Freakin' classic!
  15. Had I known a smark was going to be there I might have hitches a ride. All left in the day I wanted to see was Bad Religion and Story of the Year. Next year come hell, high water, or little brothers bitchass attitudes I'll stay.
  16. This is the last I'll hear from it. Cause it'll make no impact at all...so it's not like I'm being inconvienced by them
  17. Without a Paddle could do ok just cause there isn't much else comedy right now. I think it'll beat out Exorcist
  18. I didn't mind it happening so soon since it was overly predictable. They could have shocked me had HHH and Randy had a nose to nose and Batista just nails Hunter, shocking Flair. Leading to a big HHH/Flair vs Orton/Batista. It was predictable, so I'm glad they got it done and over with
  19. If nothing else you could watch WWE footagte from the late 90s and early 00s without that friggin blur.
  20. *cut to a shot of Mikey with a WTF look on his face* "Doritos????"
  21. I'm still waiting for Jason vs Sloth of the Goonies. This movie has been in talks or whatever ever since FvsJ opened. Unless I hear about papers being signed I'm not getting my hopes up. And Bruce Campbell deserves a big pay day.
  22. I loved Mikey and Cactus as a tag team. That's probably my favorite ECW stuff ever. Cactus: "Mikey, the Public Enemy is very mad at us. DO YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS?!" Mikey: "It means I'm gonna die." Cactus: "HE LIKES IT! MIKEY REALLY REALLY LIKES IT!"
  23. Exorcist will not do well. For one it just look very good, and awful sequels will probably keep people out.
  24. 1 Alien vs Predator $38,291,056/$38,291,056 2 The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement $22,956,453/$37,140,203 3 Collateral $16,174,309/$52,560,520 4 Yu-Gi-Oh! The Movie $9,485,494/$9,485,494 5 The Bourne Supremacy $8,600,575/$139,697,965 6 The Village $7,157,635/$99,862,707 7 The Manchurian Candidate $6,013,857/$47,989,278 8 I, Robot $3,866,317/$133,967,480 9 Little Black Book $3,784,115/$14,644,825 10 Spider-Man 2 $3,512,027/$360,973,268 11 Napoleon Dynamite $1,756,496/$15,880,823 12 Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle $1,404,200/$15,820,102 13 Garden State $1,387,775/$2,640,934 14 The Notebook $1,155,431/$74,694,064 15 Fahrenheit 9/11 $1,011,855/$115,487,706 16 Catwoman $933,383/$38,244,199 17 Open Water $894,747/$2,527,632 18 A Cinderella Story $869,210/$49,378,271 19 De-Lovely $691,617/$9,786,184 20 Anchorman $650,415 $83,470,623 -------------------------------------------- Catwoman went from 9 to 16 Cinderella Story went from 10 to 18 The Village dropped from 2 to 6 Open Water only opened on 55 screens And Gargen State was only on 175 screens For as much ad time as Open Water gets you'd think they would have put it on more screens. Garden State too. Glad to see Bourne still doing well
  25. I thought they got rid of him months ago
