Jericho's book is really good. Right under Foley's first one. About 100 pages into Bret's book and it's great. I was worried about already hearing most of his stories through shoot interviews, but that's not the case. Great book so far

Florian vs Stevenson was at 91 Maynard vs Clementi was at 90 Sherk vs Griffin was at 90 All featured fights, not to mention Gurgel's fight making the 91 telecast. What main card worth LW could have they made, taking into consideration who's just fought and who's soon to fight. I'm a big fan of the division, just playing devil's advocate.

Hughes isn't getting a title shot coming off of back to back crushing defeats. If he beats Serra and gets a serious quality win I have no problem with him getting another shot, but it's not going to be for a while

A solid card is a solid card. The title is held up with BJ's match with GSP, and the #1 contender is already set, so it's not like I need LW matches right now. As long as the show is good I'll watch it, and it looks good

Reading Bret Hart's book right now. It's pretty good, I was afraid of hearing all of his stories through shoot interviews and whatnot, but there's good stuff there. Also read Snuff by Chuck Pal...uh, the author of Choke and Fight Club. Solid, very fast read, but not his best work

Beating Hughes was a big deal for Thiago, but not making weight really hurt him as a #1 contender. The fight with Kos sealed it. Florian has been on a killing streak lately. And his Sherk loss will always be in question with Sherk having fail a drug test (granted, the next fight) While I am a firm team Penn supporter, I don't like the idea of a guy with 2 titles. With TUF coaching holding up title fights every other season it's long enough in between title fights. Evans vs Bisping, Okami vs Franklin, and Jardine vs Chuck don't come off like main event matches to me. I know you can't do a title match every month, but seems to be too big of a gap in between title matches now.

My brother's birthday present this year was a sealed copy of Star Ocean for the PS1 I got at a flea market for $10. Could have probably sold it on ebay for $60. I think PS1 games are gonna hold their value. Unlike SNES RPGs which can go for a lot, the fact that they're disc based really gives them a far easier chance to get wrecked, thus less out there
