Is the bikini contest stupid? Absolutely... but you know what, it'll take up about 3 or 4 minutes of the show and if you don't like it, go make some popcorn while it's on or something. It's harmless, and at least it's something out of the way of anything important.

Yes... Nash got Shelley to fire Devine for allegedly refusing to edit German snuff films for Nash. Completely distastful on Devine's part.

Ever since Thomas Sprague mentioned his line about blowing up the city if they shoot him, I'd thought he was was the bomb Hiro saw in the future. Up until about 30 minutes into the episode, where I suddenly had the revelation that Peter was somehow the bomb. But, how's it happen? DAMN, THE 22ND CAN'T GET HERE SOON ENOUGH! Oh, and this show fucking rules, even if Mohinder slows the whole thing to a crawl. Seriously, at least Nikki/Jessica/DL/Micah can be relatively interesting at times. Oh, and Matt gets shafted when it comes to fan recognition. He's awesome.

I'm Kip James Bitch was pretty cool.

*SPOILERS* TNA Impact results for next two weeks
Blade2kxx replied to CubbyBr's topic in TNA Wrestling
I don't know why, but I'm thinking we're getting Angle/Styles after Angle/Joe and AJ/Rhino end. -
Triple X lost the Six Sides of Steel against AMW at Turning Point '04 and were forced to disband. They haven't teamed in TNA since.
-
Wow, someone else remembers the DQ rule. That's... FUCKING COOL! CONTINUITY RULES!

I came up with a few other Survivor Series style matches that could be used... Granted, most of these suck. Carlito, Cryme Time, Brian Kendrick, Paul London vs. Shelton Benjamin, Finlay, William Regal, Lance Cade, Trevor Murdock. Kane, Boogeyman, Little Guido, Shannon Moore, Super Crazy vs. MVP, The Miz, Davari, Chris Masters, Sylvester Terkey. Mickie James, Torrie Wilson, Jillian Hall, Ashley Massaro, Kelly Kelly vs. Lita, Melina, Krystal Marshall, Michelle McCool, Trinity. Big Show, Test, Kevin Thorn, Hardcore Holly, Matt Striker vs. Rob Van Dam, Sabu, The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, Balls Mahoney - EXTREME Survivor Series Match

Nash's theme has changed since then, to an almost decent instrumental of "Come With Me."
-
Christian Cage's theme is an instrumental of Evanescence's "My Last Breath." AJ Styles has the best and most recognizable TNA theme, in my opinion. There's something about "I Am" that grows on you. Am I in the minority of not liking Joe's theme? It's recognizable, but it lacks the intensity that is Joe. It also starts out badly in my opinion.

Having Gail bump like that makes me wonder if those rumors of her doing the X-Division are true... because damn! Oh, and I'd buy Gail in the X-D if anyone's wondering.

Jeff Jarrett said something about getting his belt back. -The show opens with Samoa Joe in the ring with the NWA title. He says that he has a mission at Bound for Glory, facing three of the most psychopathic wrestlers in the world. He said that he's keeping the NWA title belt with him because the belt has been held by a paper champion who uses his pull. He said that the belt hasn't been treated with the respect it deserves and mentions names who have held the belt in the past, like Harley Race and Dory Funk Jr. He said he'll hand the belt back at Bound for Glory, but only if he gets a title match against the winner of Sting vs. Jeff Jarett. Christian Cage comes out and says that he heard Joe comment about paper champions and wanted to know if Joe was referring to him. he said that Joe doesn't look like a champion and he's never beaten Christian. Christian says that he had the belt stolen from him and he's going to take possession of the belt back tonight. He suggests they hang the belt above the ring and have a ladder match tonight. -LAX are in the back with Jeremy Borash, saying they are on the hunt for gringo meat. Abyss hit the Black Hole Slam on Raven. Jake Roberts comes out, getting a good reaction from the crowd. He pulled out the snake when he got to the ring and Abyss sold that he was scared of it. Runt hit the ring and tells Roberts to get rid of the snake. Roberts put the snake bag on Runt's head, then hit a DDT. Roberts got the mic and said that he turned down being the referee for the Monster's Ball match at Bound for Glory, but will be the "Guide" for all four in the match. It was hard to hear the mic live. -Christian Cage defeated Norman Smiley. Smiley was back to the full "Screaming" Norman gimmick from WCW, wearing a football uniform. Cage puts a straightjacket on Smiley, which brings out Shark Boy. Cage lays him out and wraps a straightjacket on him. Rhino hits the ring and Cage exits. -In the back, Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal are wearing flesh colored skincaps on their head and claim they are in "Senshi training." He headbutted Joe and hit the Angle Slam. Angle grabbed the belt but Joe hit an enziguiri from behind. Joe cinched a choke in on Angle and security tried to break them up. During all this, Jeff Jarrett retrieved his belt. After Joe was removed from the ring, Angle took the house mic and said he's been watching TNA for a year. He said that he wasn't fired, he asked Vince McMahon for his release. He said he was back to wrestling and was going to "kick ass for the fans." He says that McMahon could kiss his "Olympic Ass" and closed out with, "It's real, it's damn real." The place exploded for Angle. Xplosion: -Ron Killings & Lance Hoyt defeated Frankie Kazarian & Matt Bentley. -The Naturals defeated Petey Williams & A-1.
-
What Sabin really needs is the Heel Section back. They got him over in the first place.
-
BookDust had an, albeit weak, reason for teaming... Booker Test had no such thing.
-
I'm amazed they're keeping up with the random Killings/Hoyt tag team. Seriously, that's the weirdest random pairing since Booker T and Test.
-
I honestly choked when I remembered this quote... "I hope the US loses the war in Iraq, and while I'm at it I think the greatest country in the world is France, what do you think? And you know, truth be told, I'm not a very big fan of the black people. And if I would go back in time, the one person in history I'd like to make tap out would have to be... Jesus." -Kurt Angle, New Year's Revolution.

Edge's Special Guest: Sean Waltman

I would like to say that I called it right here.
-
Joe vs. Abyss could be a PPV Main Event... seriously, why blow it on free TV?
-
I'm thinking Monster's Ball 3: Samoa Joe vs. Abyss vs. Raven vs. Brother Runt But yeah, I like the tapings, but the lack of AJ is confusing. Isn't AJ Styles, like, Russo's boy or something?
-
It's impossible to forget that because TNA plays that clip all... the... fucking... time. I'm gonna go with Carl Oulette as X in TNA. That could have really been a cool run but nooo... had to job him out to fucking Sonjay Dutt.
-
Well... I don't think he's going to MMA now, is he?

Y2J and the Planet of the Apes? Booker and Goldust Review the Scorpion King?

Rene kinda reminds me of White Goodman from Dodgeball...

Replace Destination X with Turning Point and you've got it.
