  1. It probaly will. Make more money that is. as from what I've seen its got nothing but good reviews. And a lot of my friends I know, are going to see it for a second time when I go see it, so evidently it really was good. Plus, I know a lot of colleges (at least here in NC) had their first orientations this weekend, and a lot of the 'highschool senior audience' might not have been able to see it. (I know the orientation I went to had a shitload of people, so I could see it actually taking a big dent from that..)
  2. This Gold Wine skin is the shit.. But whoever said it was right, TSM, just doesn't feel like TSM without the default skin..I'm keeping this Gold Wine one though. And I hate the Caliskin beccause it looks like, that EWR board that I can't remember the name of, that for the most part sucked..
  3. Not really... Shelton Benjamin can jump pretty fucking high. And if you have the 'highest' vertical leap...then well, that's definitely not jack shit.
  4. It's no different then back in the 70's/60's or whatever, when all white people did was take black songs and cover them as their own..(ex. Pat Boone using Little Richards song). And that was no big thing to white people back then. So there's really nothing to complain about.
  5. Well, sounds good to me. (The draft pick) I've been wanting to see Orton on Smackdown for a while. Figured it'd be him..and glad it is.
  6. Am I the only one getting asked if Kurt Angle was in my "WWE Fantasy"? It's like they read my mind. Bill Watts All-Stars: RAW: Batista John Cena Chris Masters SD: JBL Chris Benoit Bob Holly Heidenreich Matt Morgan <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, that's what everyone's getting. They changed it after the events of last night..
  7. Well at least he didn't say the 'real' term.
  8. Well, week 1 has been tabulated...and in the TSM league "Jobbers for Trips" is number 1, with a whopping 145 points... Compared to my 38. (Well, its just RAW so far, but yea..) And wow...week 1 'superstar' is, Chris Masters.
  9. But the fact remains...ALL of this money goes to the WWE, so what does it matter? So this whole 'act of defiance' IMO is pointless. If you don't think it will be a good ppv, or you just don't want to buy it or don't have the money, then dont. But if you do have the money, and actually think you want to see it (Im just talking about buying, ignore the downloading aspect) there's no point in going 'Well, I won't order it anyways, just to stick it to HHH!'. It's not like it's "his" ppv anyways, if a low buyrate affects anyone, technically it'd be Vince, or 'WWE corporation' whatever.
  10. Sarcasm? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Pretty sure it wasn't.
  11. But, who says they're trying to? I mean, for one we don't even know for fact whether or not the ECW ppv really did 800,000 buys yet do we? Like Tino said..and I said earlier in the thread, it seems like their trying to just pop a bigger ppv buyrate while they can. Meaning during draft month where they can have a bunch of big stars on the card, that's not a joint show. Not that they're trying to beat the ECW show..they're just trying to get extra money. So I think people are just pulling all these theories out of thin air for the hell of it.
  12. But people can't seem to grasp the fact the ONS was supposed to be (as I don't know what they're doing now..) just a one night thing. Even if it did turn out great, just a one night thing pretty much. But because people enjoyed it..they now expect it to be an every day thing? Even if the PPV, and DVD sales do EXTREMELY well, I just don't see them following up on it, and why would they "in kayfabe perspective" when they clearly billed it as a one time doing. If the ECW ppv hadn't happened, and the Vengeance card was still stacked, then would it be ok to get the ppv? Because the reasoning of 'DONT GET THE PPV' just really doesn't make sense to me. (because I think the outcome will be the same either way, they won't follow up on ONS)
  13. That's a stupid reason not to buy the PPV. Regardless of the reasons for them stacking the card, it actually looks like it may turn out to be a good show...And last I checked, a show being a good show...well great, is reason enough to buy it. The same reason Heidenreich goes from hating everyone one week, and then wanting everyone to be his friend the next week, Or Shelton goes on a defend his title every week streak to prove how good a champ he is, and then barely defending it in the coming months... Seems they're still in the process of working out just what exactly Jericho's character will be.
  14. There's still a long way to go. Smackdown still has four picks to go. And more then likely one is reserved for the WWE Champion. It really just seems like they're trying to stack the Vengeance card while they have the oppurtunity of having anybody on it (this month), before returning the rosters to normal and letting them do their thing again.
  15. And man...they have got to get rid of this dress code. what happened to the time when Rock would come out in his black sweats and own t-shirt, followed by Austin in his little ass jean shorts and an Austin T-shirt, followed by Kurt in some bright red pants and a grey shirt, followed by HHH in his freaky looking jean biker jacket, etc. This whole everyone sweating their ass off in casual wear has to go...that just did not look pretty.
  16. Ummm..that was a little backwards way to end..
  17. WWE Fantasy points going WILD!!! >_>
  18. ...So..what if HHH wins? Unless HHH is about to say that.
  19. Holy shit...it really is hot. I knew Austin was sweating, and others, but DAMn.
  20. So I was wrong. I thought he'd be last week though.
  21. I think it's the exact opposite... If it was someone big..they'd want to 'cash in' (although not literally) on it early like they did the last 2 picks.
