As much as do like Elf, Im saddened that it seems to be this generation's Christmas movie people will be fawning over in 2040 when they remember their younger days. Talladega Nights was good but probably only for the NASCAR fans crowd. It was a perfect spoof of NASCAR. And Stranger than Fiction is probably somewhere on the low end of my favorite 100 movies. Other than those 3, Ive never really liked any of his movies..though I do like the Oblongs.

Im pissed I didnt know that MGM-HD was showing the Sleepaway Camp Trilogy tonight as part of its "Death AND.." marathon. watching the 3rd one now, but its lame cause of the hard R rating gore edits though theres enough nudity to float a couple boats to China and back. I mean, Lilly gets her head lawnmowered and theres not an ounce of blood. BAH! The girl at the beginning's milk shake tattoo (this was 1988..) had me laughing.

I did all I could do to try and eek out the Points category and win by tiebreaker given that I had going into tonight 12 players starting tonight/tomorrow vs Ice Cream's 8. I was only down 54 points at the start of tonight so hopefully maybe I can pull that out. I didnt play Kevin Martin tonight because I couldnt afford to have another 0's performance but you watch, he'll probably not only play but also score 40 tonight.

I had the great week last week and now im screwed this week with Bedard going on the DL and not making a start. Millwood only went 4.2 innings and Ive gotten 1.2 out of Shields. Ive only got starts from Vasquez and Parra and another Millwood start on sunday. Theres not much chance I can get 28 innings. Damn.

They obviously pulled the list of wrestlers off when they saw everyone go "Santino!" and will now have him win. They have to do that. Santino "the King" Marella Carlito can be his knight or whatever, he can brag to Maria she's not his Queen, he can have a match with Lawler...then he can get squashed by the King of Kings just like the last King of the Ring winner did.

Erik Bedard still is one of my favorite pitchers despite getting traded which kinda has me concerned over the his sore hip = degenerative hip = career ending rumors. Hes already missed 2 starts and could possibly go on the DL. If he's out for any period of time, the historical record on the trade will make it look completely lopsided. That would really be something considering there were early rumors that it was Adam Jones that possibly had the hip condition.

If my finals at Backlash idea is true, its pretty obvious it'll be HBK/Batista for the finals. Id love Jericho/Punk though. Batista wins and goes full out Heel King mode..that would be the best plan.

With Bedard missing his 2nd start due to his inflamed hip, Im starting to worry that hip might be a bigger issue that could put him on the DL for an extended length of time. My pitching staff is weak outside of Vasquez without him though Im trying to piece together a staff with veterans like Millwood and guys like Parra and Eveland but I really cant count on them. Id consider a trade if someone wants Beltre for a SP.

Bryant Gumbel wont be doing NFL Network games this year. Lots of rumors on who they're going to get to replace him but I dont think they can find someone worse than Gumbel.

theres this whole thing called trademarks..might wanna look into it. I doubt they've cared up to this point of some no named wrestler has a tattoo of their trademarked logo on him somewhere, but if they see that WWF starts making money off of him then it might be an issue.. and to get back on topic, ECW shouldnt even be called ECW. I think the few people that actually had high hopes on ECW's comeback were deluded considering Vince was involved. Hed never admit that someone did something that was better than what he could do on his own.
