I should also mention that if the channel your watching broadcasts in 1080i then all of that is moot because its going to get downconverted anyway, which includes a majority of channels with major exceptions being ABC (and the parent channels like ESPNHD) and FOX which use 720p.

720p on 720p is the best, 1080i on 720p means the signal you're getting is being downconverted. Downconverting is never going to give you as good of a signal as 720p on 720p, nor would upconverting a 720p signal on a 1080i tv.

A traditional white pizza would have nothing but cheese but technically alfredo sauce is parmesan cheese based so it sorta counts. But you are right, however I just refer to it as a white pizza due it not having tomato sauce.

Back in the preseason, very few (almost exclusively Packers fans anyway) even picked them to make the playoffs. Everybody was going with the Bears (because they were good last year), and the Packers would either go 8-8 or worse (because that's what they had done the previous two seasons). I just think theyd have been better odds than SD (Norv Turner doing what Marty couldnt?) or NYG (tough division, Eli Manning winng a big playoff game?)

Does anyone REALLY want to see the Giants vs the Patriots again? As far as the Packers odds of making the SB, Id say they were probably better than NYG and SD.

I feel good I at least had the Chargers winning. Packers/Patriots is a good bet.

The only thing this has going for it so far is they used the theme although it was short. I dont know how you can do a TV series based on what happens between a 2nd and 3rd movie because theres no drama to it. Unfortunately it will get its entire run since its fucking subbing for 24 and they have nothing else to show but I cant see a 2nd season happening.

Im jumping on the Packers bandwagon...they're the only team left that can beat the Patriots.

Prior to my GF going back to NJ for a while, I was making a chicken, spinach, bacon and caramelized onion white pizza using jarred alfredo sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese (no preshredded crap) for her at least twice a week. One of my tricks was instead of brushing the crust (prebaked) with olive oil before topping it, Id spread 2 wedges of a spreadable garlic/herb swiss cheese product (name escapes me at the moment) and it did the same trick (keep the crust from getting soggy). Im almost considering entering it in the next pizza contest I see because shes such a picky eater and that pizza is one of the few things Ive cooked for her that she eats like its going out of style. It got to the point I was making it so often that I just started buying precooked bacon, precooked and cut up chicken, and I did a huge batch of carmelized onions up and froze them in little bags to save on prep time. Also, the concept of deep fried pizza is interesting. I just watched a video and its not what I thought, as I thought it was like a hot pocket type deal that was deep fried, but its just a slice of cold pizza dipped in batter and deep fried..which is just more proof you can deep fry anything.

the Os are leaving Ft. Lauderdale in 09/10 for Vero Beach when the Dodgers move their ST to Arizona. Guess they cant call it O Town...Bird Town? Loserville? Also, all the talk of Adam Jones to the Os for Bedard (as well as some other players from SEA, but Jones is the centerpiece of the deal) has me optimistic about the Os OF for the next several years (Scott/Jones/Markakis). Hopefully some of the pitching prospects they've gotten already pan out and help offset losing Bedard as Tillman (rumored in the Bedard deal) is Seattle's #1 pitching prospect and Patton was one of Houston's top pitching prospects. Combine them with Guhrie, Loewen, Penn and Olson and they could have one of the best young pitching staffs in Baseball, but it probably wont materialize for 2 years. 08 is going to an absolutely miserable season for the Orioles.

One of the benefits of all your hair falling out is not having to shave. I havent used a razor in forever. I got a Mach 3 in the mail from Gilette when I turned 18 and got maybe 2 weeks of use out if it before my hair started falling out and stopped growing, and that was 2000. I still have that Mach 3 floating around here somewhere, and I used it a couple more times since, like for shaving off my eyebrows after they fell out.

I wonder if theyll qualify anyone at the house show here next sunday. It would make it feel more important. Currently the only thing going for the show is the fact that it'll be the last time (more than likely) I'll get to see Flair wrestle live.
