The only person out for the Ravens that even remotely matters (aside from Trevor Pryce who is out for the year) is Demitrius Williams, which means Todd Heap, Samari Rolle and Chris McCallister are playing. Heap instantly improves the offense and having both CBs active for the first time since week 2 means the defense is also going to be better. Even through this bad streak, the rush defense has held up and still hasnt given up a 100 yard game to anyone.

31? (2009?) I saw at OH that the Cubs were interested in Roberts and Markakis but I dont get why theyd be interested in Roberts. They have Derosa, Fontenot (former Oriole!) and Theriot who can all play 2B. Roberts isn't that much more of an upgrade over either of them in my opinion. Markakis is virtually untouchable due to the lack of OF Depth in the organization and the fact he's of greek ancestry.

If you go bargain hunting and are lucky you can find 4:3 CRT HD tvs on sale really cheap. You can also get 16x9 CRT tvs with digital tuners that ARENT HD but being passed off as "DIGITAL TVS!!!" at a lot of places for only like $100 less than a HD TV would cost. We actually just got a couple in for the holidays. I was delighted to see them; not only are they a decent buy, especially for those who can't afford/don't want flat panel, it helped me further win an argument about what's going to happen in 2009. And Marvin, the first HD I ever had my eye on was a 27 HD CRT we used to sell. When it was on display new, it was 529. Less than a year later, when we implemented flat panels, they were marked down to 299....and this was two years ago. Our Wal Mart still has the 4:3 HD sets for around that price.

I was tempted to try one of the Subway Personal Pizzas the other day but I resisted cause I didnt really want pizza. $3.99 for one with pepperoni, plus any of the veggies from their sub line you'd want (peppers, onions, olives, tomato)

Heres the hitch on the "Bedard is worth more than Santana" opinion..Bedard has missed significant time 2 of the last 3 years due to injuries whereas Im pretty sure Santana didnt miss any time. If some team wants to pony up more for Bedard than Santana just because Bedard is signed for 2 years vs Santana's 1 year, then Im all for it but I would think his injury proneness would deter those big offers. Also, if they make the Bedard trade and the Tejada trade, I could also see them dealing Mora and Hernandez and hopefully find a dumb team adequate suitor to take Gibbons and Payton. That should free up enough money that I could see them going after Rowand or Jones for CF at least and maybe a pitcher The team will look drastically different if that happens with Roberts and Markakis as the only everyday starters from last year and Guthrie as the only regular Starter in the Rotation (if Cabrera goes to the bullpen as I predict), though they should have Adam Loewen and Garrett Olson who missed most of last year due to injuries.

The Terps despite being 6-6 are a pretty decent team, as they did beat BC last month. As far as the Title game, the only benefiter of the whole mess was FOX which got LSU/Ohio St which will be a big ratings draw instead of the Missouri/WVU. Personally Im in the "Hawaii should be in the title game" camp but it would have never happened. And theres no way a split champion is happening again.

People keep making me offers for Josh Smith and Darko Milicic. First of all on Darko, I was surprised there was interest considering he was on waivers and hurt but he's coming back this weekend supposedly. As for Josh Smith, He's my best player, slightly ahead of Kevin Martin due to his 49 blocks, but he does absolutely murder me with his .360 fg% (not to mention I have a few other guys shooting in the lower .400's). But his contributions to other categories (points/steals/blocks/reb) just barely negate his poor fg%. In a keeper league with his upside its going to take a really outstanding offer for me to part with him at this point and none of the offers Ive gotten have even been close to that in my opinion. Basically Josh Smith, Kevin Martin and Chris Kaman are my untouchables at this point given its a keeper league. Everyone else can be had with a decent enough offer if wanted.

The only bad call I saw was the very first one where Al Harris Stripped the ball from TO in bounds but they ruled the play was dead with forward progress despite the fact TO had possession of the ball for like 2 nano seconds before Al Harris took it away.

Ive never heard of Eyefi before, but theres a 13 page thread over at AVS on the exact model you might want to check out. Its sold out online so Id say it might be hard to get now considering its a one day (thursday) deal.

Heard that on XM. That would be mind-bogglingly stupid from the Angels' viewpoint. Wood will probably be as good as Tejada within two seasons. I read further into the thread with updated info that the Angels are now interested in Santana from the Twins which would take them out of being interested in Tejada and Miguel Cabrera.

The hot rumor on OH is Joe Saunders and Brandon Wood from the Angels for Tejada.

ITS 100% IMPOSSIBLE FOR A FIXED PIXEL DISPLAY (LCD/PLASMA/DLP) TO DISPLAY ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE SETS NATIVE RESOLUTION IN ITS ORIGINAL RESOLUTION. For example, a 720p set has 1280x720 pixels which are fixed and cannot expand to actually show 1080i which is 1920 x 1080 pixels, and vice versa for a 1080i set. A non-CRT set can support multiple resolutions, but again for the upteenth millionth time, support = convert for everything other than the native resolution of the set. hopefully we have graduated past one of the easiest principles of HD display technology...and if you dont friggin believe me then here!
