  1. Im sure Eli would love to be as great an actor as Peyton. "CUT THAT MEAT!" "They're not saying BOO, they're saying MOOOOOOOOOOO-Vers".."that's if you like 6'5, 230lb quarterbacks, laser rocket arm"..etc..
  2. The Eagles aren't even trying for a TD though. Itd be funny if none of the giants tried to tackle the Eagles and 1 play ran about 30 or 40 seconds lol as nobody wanted to do anything. Thought theyd try and kick the FG on 3rd but no..
  3. The Eagles are gonna milk the clock down before kicking a FG in a similar situation to what the Cowboys tried to do last night..
  4. I Saw the first two eps when Showtime was free but Im not gonna pay $12 a month for one show on Showtime that at the time was uncertain as to whether it would be renewed for a 2nd season or not. It will, which is good news I suppose. I'll probably rent the dvds when they come out.
  5. Saturday, January 13th Indianapolis (13-4) at Baltimore (13-3) 4:30 CBS-HD Philadelphia (10-6) or Seattle (9-7) at New Orleans (10-6) 8 Fox-HD Sunday, January 14th Seattle (9-7) or New York Giants (8-8) at Chicago (13-3) 1 Fox-HD New England (12-4) /New York Jets (10-6) at San Diego (14-2) 4:30 CBS-HD I will be at work. NO HD FOR ME (unless I tivo it, but I cant watch sports on tape delay cause inevitably someone will spoil it for me and I end up pissed off)! But I'll at least have a TV to watch it at work.
  6. 24 is quite easily one of the best shows in HD. Feels almost like a movie.
  7. I can/will wait a week so I can see it in HD..duh.
  8. How the Hell is the finale of 24 not higher than the premiere?
  9. Tony Romo - 9 fumbles in last 6 games.. hes the white Tony Banks! It might be something with the name Tony..
  10. Its only the WORLDWIDE LEADER IN SPORTS! And what other options do you have? I Guess the NFL Network...hmm..
  11. I dont know about the Ravens..I cant see them giving the Ravens a shot vs Peyton since this is obviously "THE YEAR" just like every other shot he's had. That's what I just said. I coulda sworn I didnt see Ravens between the Bears and Seahawks...
  12. I dont know about the Ravens..I cant see them giving the Ravens a shot vs Peyton since this is obviously "THE YEAR" just like every other shot he's had.
  13. All I know is the Ravens Offensive Line will protect McNair a hell of a lot better than the Chiefs' did for Trent Green. That will be one of the biggest factors next week. The Ravens have only allowed 17 sacks all year. That will neutralize the Colts best defensive weapon. On the flipside, Im not sure the Ravens will get much pressure on Peyton either. No way the Colts will have a 2:1 time of possession advantage over the Ravens like they did the Chiefs today either, as the Ravens lead the league in TOP alllowed (under 28 minutes)..no freaking way the Colts have the ball for 40 minutes next week. The Ravens are good for long sustained 10+ play/5+ minute drives that sometimes only result in a FG (or even no points) but it will keep the Colts offense off the field and the Ravens defense fresh.
  14. LOL.. The Colts dont really want to win this game do they?
  15. I suppose you can start hyping up Colts/Ravens now.
  16. TD Chiefs! LOL I get home and the Chiefs finally decide to move the ball.
  17. Im rooting for the Chiefs and Jets in the AFC just so the Ravens luck out and dont have to play the Pats or Colts but that wont happen. Haha. The Chiefs should definitely win though..no reason for them not to. The other game is closer and with close games you take experience and thats Tom Brady and the Patriots. NFC-wise, I figure Seahawks and Eagles. Eagles cause they are playing the best football of any NFC Team in the playoffs and the Giants could barely beat the friggin Redskins last week. Seahawks because Romo is going to completely blow up by the 2nd quarter and I bet Bledsoe makes a late appearance to try and salavage the game.
  18. I suspect we will be hearing about the lack of votes for Ray Lewis and Trevor Pryce very soon. Problem is with the Ravens that you cant just pick one player on the defense, but Im surpised Pryce got a vote. Lewis didnt do anything and he didnt even play for almost a whole month, his vote was name value purely. Chris McCallister had 7 ints and 2 TDs. Not quite Taylors 13.5 sacks, 10 forced fumbles, 2 fumbles recovered and 2 ints for TDs but whatever.
  19. Oddly enough, as much as Im looking forward to the 4 hours next weekend, I cant wait for the following week when Prison Break is on before it.
  20. I got at least 10 more days, but hopefully way more than that.
  21. LOL..I just had the "I'll show you..you'll see!" pop into my head..we're probably due for a stevie appearance too..
  22. It was both the funniest and worst epsisode of the series to date. Worst because it was quite possibly the stupidest premise ever, and funny cause everything was funny. Plus you have guest appearances/cameos from: Mike O'Malley (uh..all the wonderful stuff hes done, and I know he was in "Stole a Badge"), Timothy Stack (Son of the Beach) and Kathy Kinney (Mimi from Drew Carey Show)
  23. While at the same time the NFC East was full of .500 or worse teams. When the NFC East is good, it is hard to get more then 11 wins in that division. The Eagles ruled over the weakest crop of NFC East teams since I dunno, EVER!?! Sure, it wasn't their fault, but it probably helped them earn some bloated records, and homefield advantage in the playoffs. The NFC East was an absolute joke the years (2001-2004) that Philly went to the NFC Title Game. Philly 11-5, 12-4, 12-4, 13-3 Dallas 5-11, 5-11, 10-6, 6-10 (26-38) Washington 8-8, 7-9, 5-11, 6-10 (26-38) NYG 7-9, 10-6, 4-12, 6-10 (27-37) ARZ 7-9 With the exception of Arizona in 2001, the rest of the NFC East averaged a .400 winning percentage over the span of 4 years or roughly a 6-10 record. Dallas and NY had 1 good year each and the Skins had a .500 year that was their best. Each team was 6-10 the year that the Eagles finally made it to the Super Bowl..
  24. McNair had 3 late game winning drives (Week 3 vs CLE, Week 4 vs SD, Week 10 vs TEN) . He didnt keep that up but he didnt have to. But right there, without McNair the Ravens are 10-6 and probably close to not being in the playoffs.
  25. It's not like baseball, where you can vote for multiple guys. I'm surprised BREES got as many votes as he did. I thought it might be unanimous this year. It's the opposite for me. I was surprised Brees only got 4 votes. I was expecting like 15-20 votes for Brees. And anyone who's griping about a middling QB not getting a vote needs to take off their purple and gold and black glasses. I figured he would at least get 1 vote, I wasnt expecting him to win. LT was clearly the MVP. But McNair had just as much to do with the Ravens going 13-3 as Brees did with the Saints doing as well as they did and he got 4 votes. Peyton Manning got 2 votes amazingly..1 of them coulda gone to McNair..
