I only had to stand in line 3 hours to get mine at a Target that only got 33 on launch day. If you cant stand in line for 3 hours, its sad. I've stood in line longer to ride a roller coaster (4 hours for Volcano Blast Coaster which only lasts 45 seconds, at Paramount's Kings Dominion which is on Mick Foley's top 10 list in his second book, and even that was better cause at least the line moved ever few minutes and it was warm vs standing in place in the cold outside of Target..)

I know enough. I cant stand it when people stretch SD material, but if you wanna make everyone look like Jabba the Hutt then fine. I got pissed off at the sports bar for them having a plasma tv capable of showing off ESPN HD and yet they were too cheap to pony up for the HD Box to get it so they stretched regular ESPN and it looked like absolute garbage, which can't be sending out a good message to people seeing plasma tvs in action for the first time. They can spend $2000 on a plasma but they cant spend the $5 or 10 a month for HD Service? WHAT? Its just stupid because its this same mentality that makes TNT go "gee..we have an HD Channel, but not all of our shows are really hd..so..lets stretch the hell out of it to fill the screen to appease the idiot masses into thinking their getting HD! YEAH! A Widescreen thats full must = HD!" What I dont get is people throw a goddamned fit over having to have their movies letterboxed and yet they can't stand the same thing on the sides of their screens to preserve the proper aspect ratio of 4:3 tv.. On the subject of Channels, I like HDNet/HDNet movies over Universal HD programing wise. I would really like some more HD Channels but Directv cant add anymore full time channels at the present moment.

Heavens know that I deserve a banning for committing no violation of rules and even if I did commit a violation ie. maybe posting this in the wrong forum, I don't think it would be ban worthy. Plus, as I seem to have embraced the ethic employed by most people on the net with half-a-brain, hat of actually writing out words, I don't see why your obvious judgment on me is anything more valuable than a stool sample. I have Directv, which I acknowledge doesn't have the greatest HD, however they have the dual tuner HD Tivo which owns too much to worry about the picture being a little off. My only other option would be Dish and the pic quality is no better on Dish really. No cable out where I live unfortunately.
