Well, a cheesecake. Her birthday is Thursday. She hasn't given me any clues as to what kind she wants..so Im gonna try and make one thats unique somehow, Im going shopping tomorrow with the intent of being able to get everything I dont have for about 5 bucks..In one of Alton Browns book he says "If you can consistently make good ones (cheesecake), fame will be yours and strangers will bow low when you walk by"..I make really damn good cakes (100% from scratch including the frosting) but I make an equally good cheesecake although I dont make them as often because Im not really a big cheesecake fan and they are a bit more work. I dont see how it would be any different from me meeting her and bringing her flowers or something like that. Im not giving her a card or anything though, or at least I dont plan on it. Plus, it gave me an in to actually meeting her.. I already prefaced the suggestion by saying that it was probably wierd for a stranger who she's never met to offer to bake a birthday cake, but that I bake birthday cakes for a lot of people (I do) and its something that most people seem to appreciate.. She's the one that wrote back and asked for a cheesecake... I see this as playing up my strengths..plus all I ever hear is how women like it when a guy can cook..and she has already expressed her opinion on that to me (which is a small part of why I Feel shes a bit crazy..but Im not getting into details), which is why I felt that I could ask her about a cake.. For once Im actually feeling good about how this will go.

When the Os offense shows up, the pitching sucks (2 wins 16-6 and 9-6, 1 loss 14-8). When the Os pitching shows up, the offense blows (3 Losses 4-1, 2-1, 2-0) I dont think Leo Mazzone is living up to the "OMG HE'LL HAVE A HUGE IMPACT" hype. This is pretty much the same story as last year and the year before. Part of the offenses problem is that they feel obligated to fit everyone into the lineup..but Im tired of Patterson and Conine already..

Thats going to B-O-M-B big time. Why? Berries and Cream flavored soda just doesn't sound good. Few things: Its really Raspberry and Vanilla..theres no cream flavor involved although I guess thats the vanilla but still.. And from what I've had, I couldnt even taste the raspberry part. I dont know what the hell it tasted like..

She shot the birthday cake offer down, but only because....She wants a cheesecake instead since she doesn't like cake. Luckily, cheesecake is up on the list of desserts I can make.. FWIW part 2..I haven't heard from the other girl in a couple days...which figures.

A while back I did a search on myspace (Women/Single/Dating/age 20-28/within 50 miles of me) and I got a lot of matches, but Id say 99% of them fell into one of these 4 categories: 1) Fake profiles or ones who have over 500 friends.. 2) Lesbian 3) Single Mothers 4) Hadn't been active in 6 months or more.. I sent out a couple of friend request out and I got about 5 to add me, but as of right now I have only 1 friend not named Tom and I actually know her so I can't even count it, and its not like we're going to be going out anytime soon. I haven't reached the desperation point where Id go after single moms..I dont do well with kids and I have no interest in having kids anytime in the near future. The 500 friends people strike me as being the ones that have big "look how many friends I have" egos and probably don't even know more than 10 of them in real life and don't want to.. I dont know how anyone can recommend Myspace over a dating site for someone that wants a dating service..

The Os need to institute a new policy whereas they wont sell tickets to anyone living in NY or Boston. Id rather see them play in an empty stadium than to see them play games where the fans are turning the whole series into a road series..

Why is it when you do nerdish/geekish thinks (I'm confused now thanks to 2Gold) or really anything that takes up time people say you need to find a lady? Like what happens when you find a lady? Do you forget about things like posting on a message board or watching Star Wars movies because being with a lady is so much superior? So are people like the Czech Republic, Artz Skunsky (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) and myself compensating instinctively by doing other things? Maybe being with a lady isn't so superior if we give up all the things we love but of course I'm looking at it from a lonely perspective. We need somebody to comment who's been on both sides of the coin. Or are people who are with a lady use this line as jealousy of the people who are still free because they don't have a lady? Or are people use this line lady free and are just venting out their frustrations on not being successful with the opposite sex? Or are people who use this line just trying to simply help people like me? Anyone not biased here who is experienced enough care to comment? Poor little WP is confused.
