Best I can tell, the only "remakes" to win a Best Picture Academy Award were "Mutiny on the Bounty" (1935), Ben Hur (1959) and My Fair Lady (1964) and none of them really scream out "remake". And I dont even see Peter Jackson getting nominated for Best Director, even though he was nominated for a Golden Globe.

The # I saw was like 62,000 as of a couple days ago. And people here in the US would spend buy anything to get a 360 for $150. I know AMEX had a deal for card memebers to get one for a low price..

Aparently, via an article and picture over on Joystiq, you can buy 360's in Japan for 18,000 yen (1/2 off), or $150 US and they still arent selling (1/2 the number of original X Boxes they sold at launch in Japan). Somehow, I find it funny that Americans bought into the hype and the Japanese no sold it. Microsoft might as well abandon Japan, or else its just going to cost them money. Those conoles sitting on shelves in Japan are consoles that could be flying off the shelves here.

The Os turned down 5/60 for Millwood, so they wont get him. The only bad thing about Millwood is Boras. I dont know if there are any other teams desperate enough to overpay that much for him, so maybe that offer comes down..

Actor, Drama Series Wentworth Miller, Prison Break Kiefer Sutherland, 24 This puts me in quite the pickle... Michael Scofield vs Jack Bauer. Im sticking with Jack although its close. 24 getting the Best Drama Series snub sucks though, and I doubt Prison Break will win.. Side note..Wentworth Miller was the voiceof EDI in Stealth.. too bad that movie sucked. And on the movie side, bleh. The only movie that got a nomination for anything that I've seen was Charlie and the Chocolate factory and thats just rediculous. I really lucked out that no one in the TSM league picked up Curtis Martin's backup Cedric Houston before I did given that Jamal is probably out this week. Plus, I droped Kevin Curtis..helped me out a huge bit through that rough stretch where I had byes and injuries, but he's useless now. 19 yards in his last 2 games. I also really lucked out this week as it was against HHH who didnt even tally 40 points, although with Vick's performance tonight I should be close to 100 points..but next week is going to be tough vs Preseason Holdouts.
