I went to see Corpse Bride, Fantastic 4 and Top Gun (yes, Top Gun) at the early preview of our new Regal Cinemas Stadium 16 for $1 each this week. OOH! High backed reclining stadium styled (ie each row of seats is elevated higher than the one in front more than normal like at a baseball stadium) seats and state of the art digital sound (which the old 10 screen theatre had already anyway). The biggest improvement is now they have 7 places to sell concessions instead of just 1...ok..yeehaw. Still doesnt mask the fact that a ticket now costs $10 (as opposed to $6 at the old theatre at the same mall). HA! Im not going to see King Kong now, screw that.

Mythbusters is an awesome show, but it jumped the shark so to speak when they brought in the B team to do the sillier stuff. With as much stuff as they blow up though, it wouldn't surprise me if one of them is struck by this "curse" as well.

MNIE wont do well at 9 pm on Thursday although I figure it will do well enough to avoid getting canceled. But at least I have a dual tuner tivo to record CSI and MNIE at the same time. Personally, with NBC..I cant wait for their midseason show "Heist" to start. Its a combo of Oceans 11, 24 and Prison Break being billed as a dramedy...its about a group of jewel thieves who plan to rob 3 jewelry stores on Rodeo Drive at the same time on the day of the Oscars. It sounds awesome although I don't know where it fits in their schedule..

People like bitching and complaining too much. Its more fun to whine and complain to the FCC than it is to hit "BLOCK Channel" on your tv. And remember of course that this is all for the poor helpless little children with parents who aren't doing such a hot job at parenting.

We used to have One on One Sports Network and they used to have a lot of good talent, but they changed over to Fox Sports Radio a few years ago, although I see with my XM that Sporting News Radio must have bought them cause they have the same jingles. Anyway, my favorite 3 Sports Radio Hosts: 3 Tony Bruno..even though I hardly am ever able to catch his new show on SNR, I loved his show on FSR. Hearing him jabber on Madden 2005 is fun. 2 Scott Farrell..a long time ago it seems, he had a show (farrell on the bench) that I used to listen to every night while I was trying to go to bed for school in the morning. I thought he had totally disappeared then he popped up doing commentary on that stupid Battledome show, and when that went flop, it seemed like he disappeared again. But now I see that not only is he doing Fox Sports Radio occasionally. but hes also rumored to possibly have his own show On XM 202 High Voltage, although I doubt it. 1 Mark Patrick..I used to love getting up early enough to hear his show on Fox Sports Radio every Morning (5-8am). His voice impressions were top notch, probably my favorite thing of the whole show since he didn't get many callers and had to do funny skits like that to fill in most of the 3 hours. I loved his rule of no "we" from the callers. Hes now over on XM 175, XMs Baseball Talk Channel, but I hate that he's limited to Baseball only and I dont think hes used to his full potential..

JBLs not on RAW.. and I wonder if Shelton will go all the way to Afghanistan just to not wrestle but do several of those "stick a superstar in gear and film it " moments.
