Barbecue is a technique, not a specific type of food. 3 hours or more over a low indirect heat (around 225 degrees) in a covered environment is considered barbecue. Do not confuse barbecue with grilling. Also, if there is any type of wood involved that produces smoke for flavor, you are smoking, not barbecuing and Smoking is a whole different ballgame entirely. All of the above items with the exception of sausage can be barbecued.

Almost a year ago, I went to a RAW House Show (same day as Great American Bash) and it was a pretty decent card (Edge vs Orton IC Title match and Benoit vs HHH for Benoits Heavyweight Title). Problem was the crowd was sparse and the only real time the crowd really felt like a crowd was after Benoit made HHH tapout. Two years prior, there was a SD House Show with a really crappy lineup (only highlight was seeing Rey Mysterio wrestle before he debuted on TV) but the place was pretty much packed since it was the first WWF/WWE show here in like 9 years or so. Im actually glad this is just the draft pick spoiled right now. SDs last two picks will be their biggest, since they will obviously get a champion and another top star, so thats not too bad. Hassan will do better on SD since they can pipe in some canned heat and build him up as a bigger heel and edit his matches to make him look better.

SD is running a house show on July 17th in Ocean City MD, but I couldn't bring myself to spend the money to see the show. The ME as of last weekend was Rey/Big Show vs Carlito/Eddy but uh..thats not happening now, but I have a feeling it will end up being Rey/Show vs Morgan/Eddy which will just absolutely suck. They could break it up into two matches as a preview for the Great American Bash the following week, but I doubt it.

What if someone breaks a leg in the 2 inning virtual game..? Do they have to go break the real guy's leg too? I dont even know if that can happen (I have MVP 2005 too, I know in game injuries happen, but I dont know about broken legs..)

This is a sad statement, but its true: Being in jail forced him to keep in shape because he had nothing else to do. While he wont be back in time for training camp because of the halfway house portion of the sentence, he should be in shape and ready to go near the end of camp and at least it will remove the possibility of him getting injured in a pointless preseason game again. Without the jail sentence/suspension lingering over his head, I think he'll be in 2003 form. I can't wait. Teams are going to have to focus on the passing game now with Derrick Mason and Mark Clayton and that will only benefit him even more.

And although Directv doesn't have the bandwith to carry it, I can't see them giving up exclusivity of the HD feed. And about ESPN..I watch it somewhat now that its in HD, although it sucks that a lot of times the games they have aren't in HD. Directv doesn't even have ESPN2 in HD yet, but word is they will by the end of the year (along with TNTHD and some other channels). 99% of the time, when the Os have been on ESPN its been blacked out because the game is on CSN. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I like you Marv, but please don't talk about why CSN Philly isn't on DTV if you don't know the reasons. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well the FCC has rules that say that any channels delivered by satellite have to be offered to the sat companies for them to carry. Since CSN Philly isn't, Comcast doesn't have to offer CSN-Philly to the sat companies if they don't want to, which obviously they don't want to as long as they dont have to, because they'd lose customers that they are only able to keep because of the current exclusivity of CSN-Philly. See..I know some stuff cause I'm also a member of DBStalk.com (Marvin) and there are some really knowledgable people over at their forums that have had to answer the "Why isn't CSN-Philly on Directv/Dish Network?" question about 884,993 times.

A 10-2 lead should be a 10-2 lead no matter who you are. To be outscored 18-1 after the 4th inning is just horrible. I cant wait for next Monday though.

And Im happy that I will finally be able to ditch Comcast SportsNet next year...hopefully for Mid Atlantic Sportsnet (MASN). When the Orioles leave in 2006, they wont have any quality sports programing during the summer..ooh WNBA Mystics and MLS United coverage whoohoo. As much as I could care less about the Nationals, the way they are handling the situation by not carrying MASN for the Nationals games right now is rediculous. I still find it funny that CSN is on Directv (the one for Baltimore/DC that used to be HTS) but Comcast ruined it just like they ruined TechTV.
