USA is affiliated with NBC which is affiliated with Bravo and Bravo is in HD right now until Dec 1 when it becomes Universal HD which will have all sorts of stuff in HD. FX is obviously owned by Fox and it wouldn't surprise me if FX had a HD channel in the near future.

Well, considering that NASCAR races get better ratings than every sports besides football, I don't know about that. Although they have been bit with the EXPANSION NOW bug to the point where there are probably too many (36) races and they've done away with a lot of the unique tracks in favor of the homogenous 2 mile superspeedways that can pack 150-200,000 fans in. But at least they can fill those seats every weekend and theres still talk of building tracks in other places (New York, Washington St, as well as Mexico and Canada). Unfortunately, they've abandoned their homebase and this just doesn't reek of something that will last. -=Mike ...How in the can anybody WATCH it? Its lasted almost 50 years without the fanbase being expanded into bigger markets outside of the south (or their homebase). And they haven't abandoned the south at all since a vast majority of the races are still held in the south (and most of the Drivers still live in and around Charlotte..) As for how can anyone watch it?...I would say that a 3 hour race has more action in it than any other sport, but of course thats just my opinion.

I think all the expansion that Bettman allowed over the last what, 10 years, mostly in places that could care less about hockey is a pretty good reason why hes the worst.

Id just like to say that my ABC station here pisses me off for not showing anything in HD (whether it be Monday Night Football or Lost..nothing..) although the standard definition digital channel is much clearer than the analog feed.

I would have liked to have seen the preview just so I could blow up again about it. I'll also admit to actually seeing Dumb and Dumberer (on the Starz Free Weekend a couple weeks back) and I must say that aside from Bob Saget (please don't let this drag any FH posters in here) saying Shit a million times, it was the single most unfunny movie I've ever seen in my entire life.

I just realized that this is a bonus for any network wanting to pick up RAW, in that they'll have another HD show in their lineup. SpikeTV has no reason to go HD anytime in the next million years even if their #1 show was capable of being HD. WWE going HD now is pretty much a sure sign that they won't be sticking around with SpikeTV.

I SERIOUSLY doubt there are very many people here who run. I could be wrong but Im willing to bet Im not.

The threat of terrorism shadows individual civil rights, get used to it. If theres not a National ID Card system set up by 2008 (not in place by then because I doubt the government could have such a huge/complicated system up and running in under 4 years), I would be utterly shocked. As an added bonus, a National ID Card with some sort of Biometric feature would help cut down on Identity theft crimes, which is like #2 worst fear behind terrorists if you believe all of the credit card company commercials about it.

A couple years ago, Steve Austin would come out and stunner Simon Dean and drink beer...although the irony would be that it would be lite beer.

The Incredibles had a much better story than either Shrek film, but clearly Dreamworks has Pixar nailed with the quality of the animation. Im kinda guessing that Disney wanted it to still look kind of "cartoony" but there were several points where it looked horrible. One of the best examples of this was when the mother and kids landed in the ocean. When they popped up out of the water, they sort of looked like wet clay models. Pixar did a better job stylizing the movie but it still didn't look as nice as Shrek 2 (or even the original Shrek for that matter). I guess after Pixar splits from Disney they might be able to improve the animation, but they'll still be way behind Dreamworks for awhile. The ending clearly left it open for a sequel but I think I read that Disney will retain the rights to any sequels which pretty much means it will suck.
