  1. Sad thing is there will be a MAD RUSH for it since it comes out the week before Christmas. But its good news none the less.
  2. The only news about this is the fact that they are doing back to back nights. Just remember that being backed up to January means there wont be a whole month like the last 2 seasons where there isn't a new episode. It also gave them fewer weeks to get in the 24 episodes which meant that they had to do the 2 hour premiere. I know that they wont do with a 2 hour premiere is a commercial free episode, which sucks, but maybe they can pull off limited commercial interruption or something so that there arent so many commercials.
  3. How in the world are the Twisters still in first place at 6 games under .500? Marvin is single-handedly carrying them...but will they make the playoffs?
  4. I probably wont be able to get on at all friday (if I do, it might just be for a few minutes, probably after 7pm or so) and Saturday it depends on what time I get off work and whether or not I can use getting off late as an excuse not to go to a family thing at 3pm. Chances are good I'll end up going so I probably wont be back to get on until 9 or 10. Im just putting this up to let everyone know about that so you can decide whether or not to wait for me or skip me.
  5. Ron White is the funniest of the 3, so thats no surprise.
  6. Reading that thread > Watching the debate > Reading this thread
  7. Lets take a trip back to February, 2004: I got all of the AL Teams right (just mixed up on the Wild Card/AL East, but anyway..) I also correctly picked the Braves/Astros divisional matchup even though I had the Astros winning the Central. Now, the question is: Do I stick behind my pick of Houston vs Anaheim? Houston should be able to beat the Braves. In fact, if the Braves win even 1 game I would be shocked. The Dodgers really don't stand much of a chance vs the Cardinals although that series should be a lot closer. The NLCS (Houston/St Louis) is going to come down to pitching, and even if St Louis gets Carpenter back, I dont think they have the pitching to beat Houston. I have a feeling everyone is going to go with St. Louis despite that, but Im willing to go out on that ledge with Houston. Over in the AL, Im not so sure about the Angels. I think the Red Sox should be able to beat them with Schilling and Pedro, but stranger things have happened with the Red Sox. Even though I had the Angels beating the Red Sox in the ALCS, I'll stick with the Red Sox to win the ALDS from them. Despite my hatred for the Yankees, I have the Yankees beating the Twins. Santana might be able to get the Twins a win in game 1, but I just don't think the Twins have enough to win 3 of 5 from the Yankees. Another Red Sox/Yankees ALCS. I dont think the Red Sox can beat the Yankees in a 7 game series, as much as I'd like to see it happen since Im tired of seeing the Yankees in the World Series. World Series: Houston Astros vs NY Yankees. Storylines a plenty. Clemens vs the Yankees, another team with a manager switch vs the Yankees in the WS, the Astros no hitting the Yankees last year at Yankee Stadium. Pitching staffs are about equal, although Id give the Edge to Houston just because they have Clemens. Yankees have a better offense though. As much as Id like to see the Yankees get swept, thats not happening. But I still think that the Astros will win the series. Not exactly "in depth analysis", but thats basically how I see it.
  8. I was taking a look at Ratliff, but hes really only good for his blocks (over 300 last year between ATL/POR), and I wanted to get a player who could help in multiple categories with my first pick. He was on my list for the next round but I figured he'd be gone by then. Im also thinking of changing my teams name to "Its raining 3's!" Baron Davis - 187 3's Eddie Jones - 177 3's Dirk - 99 3's
  9. I dont know for sure, but chances are with FOX that if there are new episodes coming, it wont happen until November after the baseball playoffs. As a follow up, I did a quick search and it will be coming back for a 2nd season. However, its getting the 24 treatment premiere date wise, as it won't be starting until January 2005. The original premiere date was November 4th, but that was apparently scrapped just recently. The good news out of this is that, with Season 1 on DVD November 30th ($59.99), you'll be able to catch up in time for the start of the 2nd season.
  10. Well, thats that..
  11. Well, he just fumbled but Baltimore recovered (and it actually gave the Ravens a few extra yards..) All the ravens need is a FG, and they are about 25 yards or so from being in Stover's range..
  12. And penalties kill the drive... Pretty much par for the Ravens season, tons of penalties..
  13. Big defensive stop there by the Ravens and they get the ball back with plenty of time to at least get the tying FG...
  14. The first penalty was probably not a penalty (even I can say that the ball was uncatchable). The 2nd was clearly a penalty, and thanks for it since otherwise the Chiefs would have gotten the ball. I don't know why they tried to pass on first and goal from the 1 anyway. Doesn't make much sense..
  15. WHEE FLAG in the end zone! Interception and another flag on KC! TD JAMAL LEWIS!
  16. As a Ravens fan, only hope is that the Chiefs defense is rusty from not being on the field so much.. And to start off this drive, thats looking like the case..
  17. Time Of Possession: 33:00 to 12:00 in favor of the Chiefs going into the 4th. You aren't going to win a game when you have had the ball that short of time, and its amazing the Ravens are still in the game.
  18. This is about the worst I've seen the Ravens defense play in a while. Its not really bad defense, they just keep letting the Chiefs do 10+ play drives that eat the clock up. The Ravens usually arent bad for that.
  19. RKO! RKO! Few years back.. STUNNER! STUNNER!
  20. So, poor Edge, who was almost fully heel turned, is now trying to make the fans feel sorry for him for never having a title shot. and now, we have the 20 man ballot to face Jericho.
  21. BJ SAMS X1,000,000,000 > Lamont "not so" Brightful TD on the punt return to retie the game up at 17.
  22. Kinda like Latka Gravas and Vick Ferrari? [Let's see who gets THAT reference...] Taxi, Andy Kaufman. Andy Kaufman in the wrestling match....yeah yeah yeah yeah The thing was, when he was Ferrari, he was a smooth talker with no accent as opposed to when he was Latka with the foreign man accent.
  23. Who isn't better than Garcia. and..she should have also said she digs men in dresses or butlers just to cover the other two stipulations..
  24. Why not D) Unborn baby?...oh...wait..
  25. Boller to Hymes off the Flea Flicker for a 57 yard TD!
