That's not going to make a lick of difference. Boller's not good at this point, he's just less bad than every other option they have. The Ravens didn't manage to go 5-3 with him starting, and in the game last week until he got knocked out as a fluke. I want Ray Lucas starting next week. Wright was decent but they need to change things up again until they find something that clicks. The sad thing is that if the offense could score 1 TD a game the Ravens could probably win with the defense but right now they can't even do that.

well just damn..Jenkins lost 2 games, 1 a 3-2 game and the other a 9-2 game. Give Marvin some run support on the first game..dang it.

I didnt include the Steelers since they will most likely go 3-7 tomorrow night and be too far out of it although I think their schedule is the most favorable of all the AFC North.

I wanna know how Maryland managed to beat the West Virginia team now that West Virginia has beaten VT and Pittsburgh. Maryland's going to a bowl game. If they beat NC State and Wake Forest (NC State tough game, Wake Forest is an easier game) then they should go to the Toyota Gator Bowl as the ACC #2 and would face the Big East #2 which could be Miami, Virginia Tech (neato old ACC team vs next year new ACC Team) or Pittsburgh. Maryland could probably beat the Hokies, but the other two games would probably be losses. I was reading some old news about MD going to the Humanitarian Bowl..but that would suck.

You should be fine. Denver, San Francisco and Philly are pretty much locks imo and that means you only need 1 of the other 4 to come in for you. Baltimore should be that 4th pick considering the Dolphins are starting Griese and the Ravens defense will probably eat him for lunch.

They didn't exactly get their message out early enough. I live in Maryland and this is the first I've heard of it (saw it this morning on CNN and found this article). I think the key to protesting something is that you get the word out ahead of time so people are aware of what and why you are protesting. There is no way any advertising ban will happen, although I must say that the Hummer commercial with the kids in the race down the hill is extremely annoying. Also, the tax writeoff for people who buy large SUV's (6,000 lbs or larger and under $100,000) is rediculous and should be either reworded to apply to large trucks (for trucking and the like) or repealed completely. They said that dealerships are telling people to buy now so that they can take advantage of the writeoff which might not be around much longer (I doubt its going to be repealed anytime soon myself). People who can afford a $100,000 SUV don't need a tax writeoff for it.

A few things about the Orioles - To hell with the idea of the Mets trading Piazza and all of his 2 year/$30 million contract to the O's for Jay Gibbons and minor leaguers. Jay Gibbons will definitely have a big year next year and Piazza will probably end up hurt again. Rafael Palmeiro as the DH for the O's would be a good move. He was well liked by the fans and he could DH for 2 or 3 more years. Im all for the Yankees signing Shefield since that means they won't need Vlad, and it will pretty much lock up Vlad either going to the O's or staying with the Expos. The O's should avoid Sexson.. The O's didn't pick up the option on Cruz cause he sucks and they can play Roberts at SS. I don't know why they didn't pick up the option on Ligtenberg, he was halfway decent in the bullpen.
