Yeah, the Gamecube had been the only console that was making money on selling the console itself. I doubt they are making money now, but they arent making any more Gamecubes for a while and the losses will be made back easily in software sales. The only thing though is that they are not offering a free game anymore, but it all comes out the same if you get a Gamecube and a new $50 game, you still spend $150.

Yeah, sucks we have to wait so long for new episodes. Someone might want to start a Season 3 thread too..but not now, the thing would get burried in a months time.

Its obvious that for at least 1 more week the Chiefs should be number 1. The Panthers SHOULD be above the Bucs, and I'd have them above the Vikings except the Panthers have only played 2 games vs the Vikes 3. The Colts are too high right now but they could be up in top 5 as the season wears on. The Seahawks should be up in the top 5 somehow too..

The Ravens are about a spot or two too low for my taste. Definitely better than the Patriots at least.

From my WinXP newsletter: Stupid. I learned in day one of computer class how many bytes there are in a MB/GB (We were given a day one test to see what we thought we knew, and only 2 out of about 15 got it even close). Next someone should sue someone over the fact that you can never get 56k speed on a 56k modem since the goverment has a cap on it at 53k.

What grade level are we talking about here? Most of these books (like the Stephen King novels) would probably only be available in high school libraries, but several of those books I remember reading in middle school or earlier. Back in like 5th grade, the Goosebumps series came out and I think I read every single one of them between then and when I started High School, probably at least 50 books. I also came across R.L. Stein's first adult novel, Superstitious, which probably would have been on the list if it was even remotely interesting. Why isn't 1984 on the list? We can't have our kids realizing what the current world is turning into now can we?

Damn. I feel stupid. The only thing I got in trouble for was falling asleep on the bus (I had almost an hour bus ride home).

I think the Chiefs could be in for their surprise this week vs the Ravens in Baltimore. They actually moved the game up to 4:00 to make it the big game at 4. Id put the Ravens in the top 10, maybe at 10. I've got good feelings about this year though because Kyle Boller is reminding me of Trent Dilfer, Jamal Lewis leads the NFL in rush yards, and the Defense is coming together again - almost like 2000.
