Last night I was driving down the the highway and two deer ran out in front of me and I was able to avoid the first one but the second was hit pretty good. The damage in the photo was from me hitting the deer at about 60 miles an hour. Not the greatest photo, but the damage was done along the front driver's side. Looks like I will need a new hood, fender, grill and headlights.

The first day went well. The kids behaved well and all was well. The real test comes tomorrow when I begin to teach my lessons. Only 172 more days until the end of the school year!

I wish Meltzer would have included MM as well, but Meltzer has stated that he had trouble writting for the guy. Personally I would have replaced Hawkgirl with Captain Marvel and Vixen with Mr. Terrific. I know Mr. Terrific is going to be with the JSA but I am a huge fan of his. Also it is surprising that PG is not included, since she has been so noticeble this last year.

My friend is a science teacher and I hear that the first year is hardeds due to all the prep work and taking notes. After that it gets easier due to you already having a lesson plan and outline to use. The worst thing is preparing all the notes. I am teaching Geography, US History, World History and Government. Next semester I will also be teaching Psychology. I am also co-chairperson of the prom committee and may be the chaperone for when the seniors go to Washington DC.
