Oregon and Tennessee are close to a deal to have a home and home starting in 2010.
-
This will also be the first time Texas has played a team with the same amount of talent and athletes.

I could see FSU beating Penn State. Theres just something about PSU that makes me think theyre not for real.

I have no problem with Dama pulling for Texas to win. Many people root for teams in their conference to win because it makes their team look better. If Texas goes in and gets smashed how does that look for the Big 12? Terrible and it makes Oklahoma look even worse.

It is an excellent rule when your team gets there based on merit. Utah last year was undefeated and it would've been the biggest travesty in the history of the BCS not to have them in. The Harris Poll shows how hard ND supporters wanted to get them in. Now I'm not saying Notre Dame doesn't deserve to be there because they are a definite top 10 team. But there are more deserving teams than them. It wont matter anymore next year with that extra BCS game. I wish they would join the Big 10 or Big East and then they could just win their damn conference title.

As much as it sucked losing Clemens it was actually good for the Oregon football program. They should go 11-1 without him and finish ranked the same as if they went to the Fiesta Bowl. The amount of money they lost is only a few hundred thousand. Now at least they have a qb or two who have proven they can play and will be more than ready next year with 1/3 of a season under their belts already. The only thing they missed out on was the extra bit of publicity from playing in a bigger bowl. They havent traveled to SoCal yet this year so the Holiday Bowl may be better for recruiting than heading to Tempe.

Heres how the Harris poll voters voted: Harris Interactive poll Many people put Oregon 8th, 9th and a few even as low as 11th. Notre Dame's announcer Pat Hayden voted ND third, whcih is just godamn ridiculous.

I'll second the notion that none of those girls are that hot. My high school cheerleading team was better looking than them.

Texas is great team but they havent faced a back like Bush or even Lendale Whites caliber all season. AD barely played in the OU game and no one else on their schedule has top quality running backs. They did show they can handle good receivers against OSU but Troy Smith was about half the QB Leinart is. Defensively SC will have some trouble stopping Vince Young but playing in the best offensive conference should help the Trojan D adjust easily to the speed of the rest of Texas' offense. UCLA, Oregon, and Cal all have amazing offenses and Pete Carroll smashed them. Now he gets a month to gameplan and get everyone healthy.

I thought I was a Redsox fan but when Pedro left I just kinda stopped caring. NFL: Adam Archuleta, Clinton Portis and Shaun Taylor (I do almost like the Redskins but probably because of them), Byron Leftwich MLB: Pedro Martinez, Derek Jeter, Ken Griffey Jr. NBA: Allen Iverson, Dwayne Wade It just so happens that some of my favorite players (Sheed, Rip, and Chauncey) ended up on the Detroit Pistons which is a team I gave a rats ass about before.

It was great when Applewhite played in the Holiday Bowl to close out his career and engineered a great comeback over UW.

The Lions offense sucks. The play calling has been terrible all year and the line is pretty bad. They have talented recievers and Kevin Jones can be a very good back. With the right system in place I think Harrington could be an adequate quarterback given the weapons they have. They shouldnt be this bad since last years team won 6 games and lost 5 games by 6 or less.

No way in hell was UofA ranked even top 25 those years. Maybe in basketball.

I thought Kyle Orton was the punter. He doesn't look like a QB at all.

Portland already has a stadium financing plan in place and several stadium locations already scouted. Portland also had the 4th highest ratings of any city no named Chicago or Houston for the world series which might interest Marlins officials.

I'll tell you what they didnt do. Lose to a team barely above .500. If Notre Dame was any other school they wouldn't be considered for the at large bid. Look at two loss Auburn. No one is talking about them. And Notre Dame is not the 4th best team in the country. Its better for the Oregon program to go to the Holiday Bowl since they lost Clemens and have lost a step since then but they and other teams get no respect while Notre Dame always is overrated.
-
Theyre still a bad team ND lost to.
-
He may not have been starting but he ended up being a Heisman candidate. Also Notre Dame and the BCS can go fuck themselves. Ohio State lost to two great teams and Oregon lost to one amazing team. ND lost to fucking Michigan State at home and shouldn't be in this conversation.

Reggie Bush just keeps breaking amazing plays that a human being has no business makng. He plays on a whole different level of speed than anyone else in college.
