It's too bad the last 5 (longer) Clone Wars episodes aren't out on DVD yet because they literally lead right in to Episode III. Oh well, that's what torrents are for. Oh and for the record, my favorite lightsabre fight is Luke/Vader II. I just love the part where Vader reads his mind and starts talking about Leia, then Luke just snaps and beats the shit out of him. The music it plays under that part is so badass. So now that sabre fights have been thouroughly discussed, what is everyones favorite/star ratings for Space Battles? Oh and the battle of Hoth counts even though it's not space. My favorite is easily the Battle of Endor.

Exactly, they don't have a damn platform! The only point they ever make is that the Liberals don't deserve to run the country. Well guess what? Canadians apparently thought that they do deserve to run the country during the last election. If the polls show that Canadians have changed their minds (which the polls haven't really shown) it's just a reaction to all the bitching that the opposition parties have been doing. Not because of any actual new concrete facts that have come forward about the "sponsorship scandal." Why don't we just fucking wait until the actual formal report about this damn thing comes out. It just seems to me like it's a really bad idea to topple the government based on pretty much speculation. If the report shows that the Liberals were in fact 'evil' ot whatever, THEN let them have it, give them the boot. But Godamn! This is not the time for another election. (Plus I'm in BC and we have a provincial election next week)

Good Lord, wonder how many insults Leia and Han threw back and forth during that time Or if they ever continued that kiss Threepio cut into Steve THAT'S what you do for the Star Wars TV show! Set it in the 6 months it took the Falcon to get to Bespin. It could be like a sitcom with all sorts of wacky hijinx with C-3P0 and Chewie, and awkward romantic moments with Han and Leia. Major point to whoever can come up with the best name for that show.

Yeah, fuck Harper. The Liberals may have messed up but I don't want that dickwad running my country. The thing that pisses me off about this is that in the last election, the Conservatives sole platform was "OMG SPONZORSHIP SCANDAL~! KILL TEH LIBERALS." On which they lost the election. And now Harper just wants a second shot at it using the same damn platform. If he loses this one, will he try and topple the gov again? Third time's the charm eh? This whole thing is just about Harper's desire to be PM, he's just creating a giant stink to accomplish that. Despite saying all that, the people I trully hate in this matter (and pretty much any other matter) are the Bloc. I fucking hate the Bloc. Hopefully if there's an election it results in a Liberal Minority, and maybe some more seats for the NDP.

I think the CE traffic will slow down a bunch (how could it not when the guy with 50% of the posts is gone) and the amount of arguments will definately go down. But since people will be able to post without fear of getting bitched out the quality will definately go up and hopfully some real discussions can start up. That and of course once Cerebrus starts his "shining bastion of dialogue and non-partisan political discussion."

God, how is it that the show has kept topping itself for the last few weeks. I didn't get a chance to see it on Sunday night so I just watched it on my computer. I love the episodes that have something to do with Spring Break, they're always so damn good. And this seemed to be the first episode that Geoffry Tambour really had a chance to shine (As George that is). i'm so depressed that the season got cut to 18 episodes. I hate American Dad already. Did anyone catch the callback when Buster was dancing around drunk? He was listening to the same music that Lucille was when she was dancing around in the episode where Buster moved out. "And THAT'S, how you narrate a story!"

Oh man, that was an amazing episode. But it's almost like the show is getting TOO self referential to ever attract an audience. I mean there were times tonight when I would just die laughing at a joke because I'd seen every episode and ogt it, but the people I was watching it with had no idea what was so funny. But who cares, I love the show. And did anyone catch the Frank Wrench reference when Tobias was on the phone in the bathroom? Another part that killed me was the sort of sinister organ version of "The Final Countdown" that played during the big reveal at the end. Oh, and who's the "Ditech loan guy?" I don't recall that. And I must have missed the part tonight with Bannanagrabber?

What type of video card do you have? Is it onboard or an expansion card? As well, what options do you have for screen resolution? Is that acting normally?

The general consensus seems to be the NVidia GeForce 6600GT (either the APG or PCI-E versions) in terms of best bang for your buck midrange cards. It's about 200 US$ I believe. You can get a 6800 for a bit more or a 6600 for a bit less, but the 6600GT seems to be the sweet spot. I bought one recently (Chaintech version) and I'm very happy with it. It also depends on the rest of your computer. I have a P4 2.0 (Overclocked to 2.6), but if I had a faster processor, I probably would have gotten a more expensive video card. Hope that helps.

FYI, the Jack Black Green Lantern thing isn't going to happen and actually was never going to happen. Jack Black himself said he'd never been contacted. I think WB is finally on the right track with their DC properties. The upcoming Superman and Batman movies are shaping up to be pretty good.. And I thought Goyer said he was going with Wally West?

Gee, get Firefox, wow that sure is usefull advice. Considering I've been USING FIREFOX for ages. I never touchded IE. And did ya miss the part where I said I used every spyware removal software on the planet already. Sorry If I come across as a dick, but I'm at my wits end here and pretty much everywhere I turn I get some generic-ass "gee look at the pinned thread"/"get some spyware removal programs dood"/"IE sucks." I know what I'm doing here. I've been pouring through the regisrty manually in safe mode for the last couple days. If you don't know a solution, just say so.

Ok, here’s the situation. I was trying to install some free guitar tab software, and the site I got it from looked good, the EULA was clean, so I went ahead. BAM, the biggest torrent of spyware I’ve ever seen is tossed onto my system. I swear it was like Vietnam on my system as I scrambled to fix stuff. Millions of popups, installers just randomly running that I couldn’t abort, hell. So I managed to quiet everything down, killed the 12 (yes 12) IE toolbars, uninstalled all the software, and ran all the spyware killers. Everything is back to normal exept for 1 thing. There is still one popup (Search results for poker online) that keeps appearing in an IE window (even though Opera is my default browser) every minute or so. I went for dinner and came back with like a million windows to close. I’ve run spybot, ad-aware, Giant, and Hijack-this, and it remains. I’ve traced the problem to the key “kalvsys” in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Run. It shows up everytime I run Spybot as: Elitum.EliteBar It shows up everytime I run Ad-Aware as: Ebates Moneymaker Giant shows nothing Hijack This shows: O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [kalvsys] C:\winnt\system32\kalvins32.exe Everytime I delete this (in any program) it reappears the next time it’s run. If I delete the key in the registry it reappears after about 5 seconds. If I rename it, a new key appears. If I change its value data (C:\winnt\system32\kalvins32.exe) it resets itself. Oh I can’t find C:\winnt\system32\kalvins32.exe either.

I think the switch has to be autosensing, I can't remeber the exact details right now.

Oh hell yeah! Suprnova.org (never go to .com or .net. They're scams) is the absolute bomb. Best use of the internet. And their forums are also amazingly helpful for tonnes of computer info.

What OS are you running? And is the mouse USB or PS/2? Also what video card are you using? Oh and can you still access the net on that particular computer? And as an aside, I hate it when people refer to their computer as a CPU. Pet Peeve. The CPU is just the brain. That's it! I'm going to start calling people "brains." Sweeeet.
