Back from seeing it. It's definately the best of the Platinum Dunes movies/remakes so far, and is a lot of fun. Pros - - - - - - - - Cons - - Overall: 7.5/10. It doesn't set out to reinvent anything, and that's just fine. It has all the cliches you'd want, gore, a badass Jason, great kills, and delivers exactly what one would expect-which is all one wants really. Unlike Rob Zombie's take on "Halloween", this is a movie that knows what it wants to be, doesn't become a terrible attempt at a character study, and is just a more entertaining movie that never becomes too somber or forced for it's own good. See it with friends and a packed audience.

I have a feeling that Truthiness is really Leena with an alternate gimmick account. I feel like an idiot falling for all of that.

Good God, I go to see a movie, and all this happens? So much for me becoming a mod. Banning awesome posters like Agent, 909, Vitamin X, Cheech, Dandy, and other great/good posters was retarded though. So, now what? I'm confused. She really buying the board, or is this/was all this some kind of sick joke?

But C-Bacon has toned it down, and while I disagree with him on some issues, he comes off as a likeable guy. Was I too hard on him at times? Yes, and I shoudn't have been. Marvin has been terrible for years, and not just in CE. Then again, you are the only guy who thought Deon didn't deserve to be banned, so it figures.

But I put him on ignore, and it's hard to ignore someone when people keep yelling at him, thus giving everyone what he wants. Look at it like this: When Kinetic won Best Poster, he got a "Best Poster" group thingy. If Marvin wins Worst Poster again, what do we give him, a "Worst Poster" group thingy? He'd just wear that as a badge of pride. He knows what he's doing, and he's been getting away with it forever.

While I loved the worst poster tournament last year, one of the problems I had was the fact that Marvin wanted to win. He seemed to relish in the fact that most of the posters here can't stand him, and amped his persona up to unspeakably annoying levels. He knew (and still knows) how to annoy people, and posters (particularly in the CE folder) fall for it. I used to fall for it, but then I quit frequenting that folder regualarly, because I realized that it was pointless to insult or argue with the guy. Nothing ever gets through to him, and again, he knows what he's doing. When the guy everyone thinks should win worst poster wants to win, and knows how to win, it takes away a lot of the fun.

To be fair, Marvin should have been banned after winning worst poster last year.

Febuary 10th, 2009. The day EHME was put to rest (banned) Granted, this banning was a long time coming. The man had been skirting the edges since 2006. People were calling for his banning then, and they were recently. His entire tough guy act was terrible-he couldn't even do that right. Everything about the man was annoying. His constant homophobia, drunken (and sometimes coked up) antics that were more tiresome than interesting (he couldn't even do drunk posting right), terrible attempts at starting fights with others, threats of violence towards other posters, cliched tough guy dialogue (fuck you, bitch, fag, faggot, etc), impregnating a woman (and gloating about it-seriously, who the fuck does that? It's amazing protective services haven't taken the kid away yet), horrible attempts at humor (saying your only kidding when threatening posters is no excuse for sucking you dumb fuck), and general attitude served as nothing but a detriment to the board. At times, he was so horrible, he actually made me long for the days of the likes of CronoT. Now he's gone. Or at least until Mike unbans him and pisses everyone off for being a dolt. Will he be missed? Fat chance. Every message board has it's EHME. Hell, we have a terrible poster or two or more banned every year. It's just that this one was two or three years too late. In the end, nobody will miss him or his antics. He had enough chances already, and today was the last one. He finally blew it. Sure, there are other terrible posters here, but there was only one EHME on this board. And one was enough. He wasn't the worst poster we've had (that prize goes to either MikeSC or wildpegasus), but he was undoubtably one of the worst. So good riddence.

Plus, he's been skirting the edge for a while now. People have been calling for his head since 2006. He's had his chance several times now, and that's why I think he should be banned after the Worst Poster Tournament. Why? Because it would be a perfect eulogy for him-both banned and considered worst poster, and I have hopes he actually wins this year. If he doesn't win-I say we ban him from this part of the board. His attempts at starting feuds with posters are childish at best (and don't give me that "I'm just kidding" shit EHME, that's still no excuse), and as it's been said, he brings the board down with his tired shickt. He's had enough chances, the tournament should be his last, win or lose. I know, Marvin won last year, and he wasn't banned. Well, let's make EHME the exception this year. You think everyone you dislike should be banned, so shut the fuck up. No, just you.
