  1. No Incredibles for best film? I'm outraged. Anyways my prediction for the movie that will sweep the awards, none other than http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365957/ YOU GOT SERVED!
  2. I know, I said I wouldn't star anymore music threads for a while, but this is too good http://www.gawker.com/news/culture/clay-ai...dren-026961.php
  3. Apsolutely. Also, I think I'm going to stop with the music threads. Onto the movies!
  4. There's always Clint Howard... Well, if you ask me, the world could use a little bit more Clint Howard in there lives (no joke, I am oddly fascinated with the man.)
  5. More stuff form fangoria.com. Anyways, the Kane Horror film "Eye Scream Man" will now be called "Goodnight" http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=3267
  6. Gene Snitsky...He's a real man's man indeed.
  7. Every year, there are songs that you just hate to admit it, but you love them. What are this years guilty pleasures?
  8. I know who they are, and I'm a fan
  9. You know what? I think this justifies him becoming am alchoholic
  10. A Very Merzbow Christmas-5 noise blasting pieces of dissonance to make you deaf for Christ!
  11. Whoa, he coulda been a Dynamic Dude
  12. Spike Dudley over Funaki: Should be Funaki, since he's pretty over right now. However, he's a cruiserweight, and Vince doesn't care about them, so it will still be Spike. Danial Pruder over Michael Mizanin Handicapped Match: Kurts team will win. Don't ask me why, but they will. Don't know or care who wins the women's match John Cena over Jesus, complete with the typical homophobic rap RVD and Rey Mysterio over Rene Depree and Kenzo Suzuki JBL will win the fatal 4 way, because when it comes the the Smackdown title as of late, God just seems to ignore our begging for a new champion
  13. It's the most wonderful time of the year....for some. Anyway, every year, we are bombarded with shitty Christmas albums. What Christmas album would you like to see get made, or at least mention one that could never get made.
  14. If Bob Saget isn't in it as an overly nice dad, then I'm not watching it. It also need John Stamos as the rebelious yet responsible uncle.
  15. Just a rumor, but still. Anyway, as of late, it seems like Hollywood seems to have a thing for remaking acclaimed Asian Horror films. One of these films may be "A Tale of Two Sisters". Though again, it's only a rumor, it's been reported that the Olsen Twins may star in the remake. Here's the site with the rumor http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=3257 I honestly have no comment to make. What about anyone else?
  16. Came out 2003
  17. Some of My picks (note, I'll add more later. These one's are more "obvious") Kanye West "College Dropout" The best hip hop album of the year, this sucker was the buzz of both underground hip hop and mainstream hip hop fans, as well as some who normally don't care for hip hop. Plus it contains "Jesus Walks", a song about Jesus that *gasp* doesn't suck! Ministry "Houses of the Mole" It's hard to believe it, but Al Jourgonson still has it in him! From Anti-Bush songs that don't suck for a change ("No W","World","Wrong") Tales of paranoia ("WKYJ"),hopelessness ("Worm"),Drug addiction ("Worthless"), and even the dark underbelly of our Country ("Warp City") this sucker kicked my ass two days to Sunday. Brian Wilson "Smile" Sure, it's not really new material, but the long lost album finally came out, and proves that Wilson is still brillient, even after so many personal (and musical) disasters. Loretta Lynn "Vear Lear Rose" Fuck all of the crap radio tries to pass off as country, this is awesome, and produced by a guy I normally can't stand in Jack White! This album is exactlly what Country Music, and Music in General, really needed this year. Best songs; "God Makes no Mistakes", "Family Tree", and "Story of My Life" MF Doom "MMM...Food" The "Dr Octygonecologyst" of 2004, and a truly memorable album from an excellent rapper. Full of colorful characters, tight beats, tight rhymes...This one really has it all. Depeche Mode"Remixes 81-04 Limited Edition 3-disk Set" Proof that remix albums can be great, and a must have in any fans collection. A remix album with hip hop, synth pop, electro, IDM, industrial, hard house, acid house, trance, trip hop, rock, turntabalism, ambient, breakbeat, minimalism, dub, and even a pinch of dub reggae. Front Line Assembly "Civilization" After the disappointing "Epitaph", FLA return with a vengence, and manage to make EBM (Electronic Body Music)/Industrial Dance become cool again. RJD2 "Since We Last Spoke" The follow up to "Dead Ringer" is proof positive that he's not just another DJ Shadow, and an album experiment that actually works, and requires more than one listen. Best song is "Making Days Longer", in which he sings, and does a great job of it. Also noteworthy: "Someone's Second Kiss", "Ring Finger", and Through the Walls"
  18. Every year, there are albums, or an album, that are/is released, that makes your ears stand up and pay attention, be it a metal, blues, electronic, hip hop, rock, or even indie album. Post your picks for album of the year right here.
  19. Last nights South Park was...meh. As for Drawn Together, not as good as last weeks, but still pretty funny. Best parts included the ending, and the line "I don't steal Wagons-I steal scenes!" had me cracking up.
  20. I can't believe I forgot that. Actually, justa bout anything from Toby Keith is bad. Also, that song with Kenny "No Shirt, No Shoes, No Talent" Chesney and Uncle Cracker
  21. Apparently, it's true http://www.fangoria.com/news_article.php?id=3246 Wow, Meanie in the movies. Is the world ready for such a thing
  22. While I'm not a metal head, I always thought he was a great guitarist. RIP Darrel, and everyone else who was shot last night
  23. Sure to piss off Bush fans, but who cares, it's the best musical quote of the Year. The shittiest album Actually, I think its the best album of the year. But that's not me. If you don't like it becauser of it's anti-bush slant that's ok, but remember, this is a music thread, not a political one.
  24. "Priest" Priest makes deal with a demon, and battles zombies. Why an anime of this hasn't been done yet is beyond me, because we need an anime with zombies. "Uzumaki" Also, check out the movie, which is fucking awesome.
  25. See, this is probably in my top 5 or 10 songs of the year. One of the best club tracks I've heard in a long time. "Crazy Train" is incredibly lame, but Trick Daddy and Lil' Jon managed to take the 12 good seconds out of it and spin them into a great little thing. I'm just surprised no one thought to sample it sooner. Were you in front of me right now, I would strangle you with an extension cord until the lack of oxygen left you good and permanently retarded. Same with any of you assholes who appreciate fucking Lil Jon over Ozzy. You deserve cancer. One of the painful kinds that assaults your rectal cavities. My, aren't we bitter. You do know that it's most likely that Lil' Jon, or Trick Daddy, or whoever sampled "Crazy Train", most likely asked Ozzy if they could, and that Ozzy agreed. Wake up man, the 70's/early to mid 80's are over, and sampling is not the tool of the devil. Oh, I hope you also realize that Ozzy appeared in a Busta Rhymes song. No offense dude, but you sound like a parody of a metalhead. I know some Ozzy fans, and they have no problem with it.
