Pacific is keeping the game respectable right now. Which is little bit of a shock, considering how far Boston College was out ahead. I'm watching the SH/Witchta State game, and man....SH is getting owned on the defensive and Offensive ends of the court. The only positive for them is that they generated 2 Steals, which they converted for 2 points. They ended up scoring the last 4 points, though UWM/OU is at Halftime with UWM up 33-31.

The Invites have been handed out, the Seedings have been announced, and The Bracket is officially set. Thus, beginning one of the greatest sporting events in the country begins this Thursday. March Madness has begun. With all of the criticism that has been laid on the committee for these things (A lot of it justified) there's nothing anyone can do about it now, except wait and see how all of this will unfold. With that said, we have less than 3 Days left until the first tip off at 12 PM. Here's to a Great Tournament.

They are coming back next year but the designations will now be based on the location of the regional round. example: Lets say the round is in Seattle it could be called the Northwest regional. In Phoenix the Southwest regional, In Syracuse the Northeast regional etc... That makes sense.

As of right now....I have Tenn being the 5th 2 Seed ever to bow out in the first round. Why? Cause like almost every other 2 Seed that has...they've become very vulnerable in a short amount of time. Winthrop has NOTHING to lose here, Bruce Pearl and the Volunteers have plenty. This may change before Thursday, but with this field....I wouldn't be surprised.

I acutally like BC to defeat Pacific. They showed me a lot in the ACC Tournament. They're balanced and tough, AND they can give Nova a serious run for their money if they reach the Sweet 16. However, lets not forget about the Roadblock that waits for them in the 2nd Round in Nevada. Nevada was left for dead in Janurary when it lost a string of tough Games. However, since then, they've won 16 in a row, including the WAC Championship. Not to mention they have one of the best players in country leading them. BC has ALOT to worry about in Nevada.

I'm going to call it now. GW over Duke in the Second Round as long as Pops shows up. You heard it here first.

Air Force, I agree on. It's going to be a "What" Team for years. The only defense for Air-Force....they were in the 8th Best Conference by the numbers. Utah State....I'm well....shocked....but you'll be surprised by this number. I just took a gander at their OOC Strength of Schedule....And it's a big fat 66. Now....forget these teams names, cause that'll cloud your thinking. Think about the number. That's one of the reasons why they got it. Is it everything? No, but it explains a lot. Utah State got lucky to be blessed with that number.

I'll go you one further. Winthrop. If they play the way they played in the Big South Game, and Tennessee is still stuck in SEC Tournament mode, they can lose. And X can beat the Zags. GW has the horses to beat Duke. If Pops plays...Pray for Sheldon.

Wow...Nantz and Packer need to get fucking smacked! Don't these guys get it?! Getting in the Tournament is not about Previous Tournament performance!!! It's about your season!!!! One thing I can say is none of these selections of the bubble teams make any sense. But seriously, who from the power conferences did they think deserved in? Maryland? Florida State? I'm a Florida St fan and even I admitted freely that the Noles needed 20 wins to get in. I just have no idea where Air Force and Utah State came from. Their non-conference schedules were shit so bad they made Florida State's weak schedule look overwelhming. Oh no, I have to agree. Some of these teams do not deserve to be here....Utah State, Air Force?!?!? Utah State didn't play ANYONE and Air Force = What? That's all I have to say, for now. But Nantz and Packer are just throwing numbers out there, and don't realize that Power Conferences STILL Got 26 Fucking Bids, and they're arguing for ALL 34 to go to them, using stats that mean nothing in the selection process. Not to mention that they're arguing for a caste system for the tournament, screw trying to move up. That's what gets me angry.
