  1. John Cena/Undertaker at Vengence 2003 is a perfect example of getting a wrestler over without jobbing.
  2. Can't wait to see MVP Vs. Mysterio.
  3. Booker T/Chris Benoit best of 7 matches in WCW, got Booker T over as solo wrestler, and eventually to a main eventer. Dean Malenko/Chris Jericho feud was the 1st time people got a chance to see Jericho's natural charisma, and got fans jumping on his bandwagon.
  4. By the way, GSP would beat the living shit out of Nick Diaz.
  5. And he ain't no bitch.
  6. Just to play devils advocate, if boxers get more then a million a fight, why shouldnt MMA fighters? Considering MMA is more popular then boxing at this play.
  7. Henderson is the PRIDE MW Champion, he should get a chance to unify the titles without having to fight another UFC MW scrub. The MW divison in the UFC is weak as hell. Yeah but........he's never defended the title. And he lost to Kazuo Misaki in a non-title fight. Times like this really make me wish that Kampmann and McFedries weren't out hurt as either of those dudes could've been built up to title status by now. Kampmann maybe, but I can't see him being competitive at 185 for much longer. I really think he should drop to 170, he would be a force in that divison for sure. McFedries, as much as I enjoy watching him fight would lose to any decent grappler who decides to take the fight to the ground.
  8. Henderson is the PRIDE MW Champion, he should get a chance to unify the titles without having to fight another UFC MW scrub. The MW divison in the UFC is weak as hell.
  9. Dana White said it was possible, he didn't flat out say it was going to be for a title shot. He also said Henderson moving down to 185 and fighting for the title is a big possibility aswell.
  10. WTF? Do you even know who Nogueria is? (Don't mean to be an asshole) I can't blame Couture for doing this, he's 44 years old and is retiring on top, he has no reason to fight another war unless it's with the best fighter in the world. If he goes back to being a full time commentator for the UFC, I can't complain man because he knows more then Rogan and Goldberg combinded. But then again if Vera, Nogueria, or Kongo win the title, I can easily see Randy coming back to challenge. I mean this is Randy man, he has too much pride to stay down. I know he won't comeback if Sylvia wins the title, but one of those 3, he will feel like it's a new challenge.
  11. Well Venis has been getting TV time, and is in a feud with Santino, so we'll see how that goes. Oh and while I enjoy most of Val Venis's work, his Chief Morley stint was pure crap IMO.
  12. Is it just me or is Mac Danzig a complete total douchebag? I mean the kid has a bright future and is a talented fighter don't get me wrong, but him hating on Hightower for no real reason at all, and then in the preview of him talking shit to Bowman just rubs me the wrong way. But all I'll have to do is watch his fight with Mach again, and then I'll feel better.
  13. Looks like Rothwell and Whitehead won't be fighting for IFL. Rothwell is a huge blow to the IFL, as he was there franchise fighter for the most part. UFC needs to sign this guy, he's only 25 and so far he's been killing the competiton in the IFL, he would be a great addition to add more depth to the HW divison for the UFC. Whitehead since losing to Jardine back at UFC 57, he's been on a tear by posting 10 victories. He deserves another chance in the UFC, IMO.
  14. UFC LHW divison is too stacked not to be recognized aswell... Rampage, Chuck, Jardine, Griffin, Shogun, Wanderlei, Ortiz, Henderson, Alexander, Machida, Rashad, Bisping, Hamill, Gouveia, Lambert, Nakamura, Bonnar, etc. Talked about stacked divison, I just hope they sign Sokodjou and Arona.
  15. If he gets an immediate title shot at MW against Anderson Silva, no way. Stop trying to be a smart ass, becoming a 2 divison champion would build up Matt Hughes legacy even more then it already is. It could be huge for Hughes, and it really didn't much damage to his legacy if he losses to Silva. You're on the rock if you don't think this could happen.
  16. Anderson Silva Vs. Matt Hughes would be arguably just as a big of a buyrate as GSP/Hughes III would because of 2 factors: - Matt Hughes moving to a new divison fighting against the champion, will always draw the attention of the casual MMA fan. - Anderson Silva is becoming a draw for the UFC. Whats not to like about him? He is humble, always looks to finish fights, and puts on a show for the fans. As much as I am intrigued to see Matt Hughes fight GSP in Canada, I won't be shocked if this happens. Matt Hughes has Randy Couture status with the UFC, if he feels like moving up to MW he will get a shot right away, just because of his name value and what he has accomplished in the UFC. I can't remember the excat interview I read but I do remember him saying he would be interested in fighting Anderson Silva, if he gets by Rich Franklin at UFC 77, and if he beats Serra in December. Although it isn't really the most reliable source of information, on Matt Hughes wikipedia page it says the same shit. Look for yourself.
  17. I'm having doubts that if Matt Hughes wins the title, he will fight GSP. He's been very vocal about moving up to MW to try to take on Anderson Silva for the belt. I think he vacates the title if he beats Serra, making GSP fight another contender for the vacated title.
  18. I would like to see Karo Vs. Sakurai myself. Marcus Davis Vs. Jon Fitch would be a good fight.
  19. Nope, it was more similar to HHH/Foley at RR00. It wasnt like HHH beat Orton convincingly in their 1st match as well, he won by fluke roll up.
  20. Great fucking match, by far the best HHH/Orton match.
  21. Fuck the haters, Randy Orton for WWE Champion.
  22. Well Sherk appeal fucked things up for them, but with Karo/Lombard(JUDO-MANIA!), Edgar/Fisher, and hopefully the return of David Terrell. I'll order it(but then again PPV's cost half price for me ) They will most likely add another solid fight for this card, I hope so atleast.
  23. I could very well see Nogueria getting KO although I doubt it happens. Remember Herring almost KO'd Nogueria. All I know is Nogueria better not go out there and try to strike with Kongo, and take him straight to the ground from the opening bell.
  24. Actually, the plan for BDV for a long time now was to groom him for a run on SmackDown. I have no problem with this, except for the fact that he had nothing to do with the original four-man competition in the first place. This just tells me, as a fan, that I shouldn't invest any emotion in any sort of feud/competition, as it can always change at the last minute. Fuck, they have another PPV in less than a month. They couldn't wait until then? I mean, the Punk-BDV affair just started seven days ago, right? You do know that a part of the plan before moving him to SD! was to make him a main event heel on ECW right? And invest any emotion in a feud/competition? Dude this is PRO FUCKING WRESTLING, stranger and by far worse things have happend to feuds before. Atleast this isn't suprising
