When was the last time BJ actually had to use his guard? It's so difficult to actually takedown BJ, especially a motivated BJ that actually is training. You could honestly tell me with a straight face that the BJ who GSP was able to takedown, is the BJ of now? GSP might be able to takedown BJ, but it's going to be a lot more harder now that BJ is actually hungry and motivated to be the best in the world.

Michael Bisping is problay just as good of a techncial striker as Rich.

I just can't see GSP beating a fully motivated BJ, but beyond the point this is going to be a great fight. This is the rematch I've wanted to see since the 1st fight.

He was able to takedown BJ Penn, when BJ didn't even attempt to stuff takedown. But like I said, even if GSP takes BJ down, it's not going to be a safe place for him.

Werdum was in a dominating position, but none of his strikes were doing too much damage... Considering the same referee let James Thompson blast Kimbo with elbows in a dominating position for a good 2 miniutes, it find it fishy. Plus there was only like 10 seconds left in the round.

What has happend when he faced top-tier competition? He broke his hand against Sylvia, and it's not like Sylvia totally destroyed him... All Sylvia did was push him against the cage. Plus the Werdum fight was a very controversial stoppage. Vera destroyed Mike Whitehead, Frank Mir, and Assuerio Silva all of whom are very solid fighters. The fact that Vera beat them in convincingly fashion says a lot about his skill level.

There 1st fight told me different... And BJ didn't even really train for that fight. Lets not kid ourselves, if BJ didn't gas out he would've won that fight. I don't really think BJ has improved all that much, he's just taking his fighting career a lot more seriously now. BJ is in the prime of his career both physically, and mentally... GSP is not more skilled then BJ, you're on crack if you think differently.

Of course he has been overhyped lately, but in the past he warranted the hype... He looked really good when he was on the come up, finishing most of his fights in the 1st round. And the point I was trying to make is bums don't make 200k a fight.
