  1. The Rumble is probably one of the most enjoyable matches of the entire year.
  2. According to the website, the movie is opening here on 01/23. Awesome.
  3. I tried my best to get into Star Trek, but I never could.
  4. + The Watchmen (if the lawsuit between WB and FOX is resolved by then) + Public Enemies (Depp and Bale - what more can you ask for?) + The Wrestler (Not released here until Jan of next year) + Milk (See The Wrestler) + X-Men Origins: Wolverine - (only because Deadpool will be in it) + Transformers: Rise of the Fallen (But please...dear God...no Killer Mountain Dew robot) + Sherlock Holmes (Robert Downey Jr...thats all I can say) + Terminator: Salvation (Its Bale and the Terminator franchise (which is 2/3 for me) so I guess it will get my $) Those are the only movies I can think of at the top of my head that I want to see at the moment. What movie are you anticipating for 2009?
  5. The Good: + Went on vacation with my friends this year instead of my family + Went from 180 to 141 - mostly because I cut back on drinking + I finally saw TDK (a movie I had been waiting to see for 3 years) + Kept a job and got a nice raise + Barack Obama won (and I voted for him) The Bad: + The year started off hectic - a friend from school shot himself + Two of my closest friends have moved + I didnt get to hang out w/ friends nearly as much this year + I didnt go back to school and I became a chain smoker The I dont know if this is good or bad: + Three of my friends got pregnant...one has had her kid...one down, two to go While not to many memorable moments, at least I didnt get fired for not talking to a customer enough this year. So how was your 2008?
  6. I actually just watched a few episodes on YT (my favorites being "The Golden Goose", "Dinosaur Duck", and "The Good Muddahs") and some of them held up pretty well. I remember getting pissed off when my friends would mention an episode where Donald (my favorite Disney Character) would guest star and I never got to see it till years later (aka last Saturday). Turns out he only appeared in a few episodes because he was in the Navy.
  7. Brody, what is your opinion of the hit 1980's television series known as DuckTales?
  8. I'd like to hear the reasoning from someone from the 17% who said that he united the country.
  9. Just the 66 Batman film and Return to the Batcave.
  10. She couldnt wait until today to dump him?
  11. CHRISTMAS DAY!
  12. I got: + Rodan/War of the Gargantuas DVD + the new Eddie Guerrero DVD + The Batman Season 5 + Edge's new DVD + The Road Warriors DVD (yes I know I'm late on that one) + Seven Samurai (3 disc DVD) + Memento (SE DVD) + Some new clothes + New NC hat + A robe and house shoes + A poster for The Dark Knight featuring The Joker
  13. Didn't she have a kid that was also called Mothra? I remember one of the newer movies having a male Mothra flying around after mommy Mothra died. Meh - it depends on which timeline/continuity Its rumored that they want the Adam West Batman show
  14. Specification: Do you mean first run, pre Superman TAS or post Superman TAS for Robin. And yes, those post "Superman" eps ARE counted as TAS...at least according to the DVD box sets. Pretty much both Robins. I'm lso a Nightwing mark also.
  15. TAS Robin is the only version(s) of the character that I like. BTW:
  16. Those are some bold predictions - especialy the first three - but I was shocked at how many predictions were correct in the 2008 thread so here...we...GO!
  17. This is unfortunate.
  18. I'm hungry.
  19. Just go to google and look up korean santa: http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&...sa=N&tab=wi
  20. Howard did beat up a drunk/high Ludacris in Hustle And Flow.
  21. Because he's Robin. One of the highest selling DC books of all time (A Death In The Family) features The Joker brutally beating Robin (Jason Todd) and then tying him up and leaving him to die in a explosion. Fans got to vote on if Robin survived, and they (although by a small margin) decided Jason Todd should hit the bricks.
  22. Eh, you're right. I guess my excitement for seeing Deadpool means I will have to deal with a more sane version first. I'll be happy just as long as Ryan looks at the audience once in the movie and starts talking about chimichanga.
  23. Gotta start somewhere. "Ryan Reynolds looks like a guy who went to Party City to get a discounted Deadpool costume. Then left the mask hanging on the rack, right next to an item labeled "dignity"." Thats sadly what I think.
