Were you to take a drug test right now...

so why don't i kill you? -
i prefer the dialogue in 'raging bull' to 'pulp fiction'. it feels more genuine to me. anyway, favorite movie: 'it's a wonderful life'. once in a great while, i'll see a movie that has one moment that's so perfect it gives me chills. 'it's a wonderful life' has 5 or 6 of those moments.

i just wanted to say that this is the best thread title i've ever read.

i have a history of substance abuse problems in my family, on my mother's side and father's side, so it's not the smartest thing in the world for me to do. -

The One and Only When Do You Begin School Thread

i started my senior year of college on the 19th. -
eh...overlooked is far too easy to do. if everybody who knows a certain movie thinks it's a great movie, i have a hard time calling it underrated.
-
hell, they should've given rvd the title back in 97 when he started wrestling there. speaking of 97... austin/hart SMOKES hell in a cell in almost every way possible. the pacing, the booking, the selling, the "powder keg" feeling, and ESPECIALLY the ending.
-
wasn't that released in 2000? what's our definition of "underrated" here? are we talking great shit that everybody else doesn't like or great shit that everybody else hasn't seen?

not anymore. at least that's what she tells me. she's also INFINITELY more reliable than she was before, so it's a pretty safe bet. one, some kind of tribal design between the shoulder blades. also has pierced nipples & is getting a barbell through one of her ears because she likes the pain. seeing as how there's a video floating around the city of augusta somewhere of her having lesbian sex with one of her friends, she may very well say yes to this. she seems on so-so terms with her parents now, but it used to be BAD. like...really bad. you know...i used to like this girl a lot, but the more i remember to tell about her the more i say to myself "what the fuck was i thinking?"

i know a girl i think you'd enjoy. she's dropped out of school, lost her virginity at 13, done pot, crystal meth, acid, cocaine and heroin, spent her 18th birthday in jail for violating her probation, is on lithium for bipolar disorder, and tried to kill herself numerous times. and she's hot too.
-
i resent that.
-
now she's talking about how she doesn't like taking it up the ass. this is slightly more entertaining.
-
at the moment i'm having a conversation with an ex-girlfriend who's complaining about how much better the sex was with me than it is with her current boyfriend. not as entertaining as the cocaine, but i can only do so much with what i'm given.

if ever there was a poll that needed the presence of la parka, this is it.

i believe he's referring to the summerslam match with trips.

so i just started my senior year of college, and to get into the grad schools i want, i gotta take the GRE. so, i'm basically just looking for some advice from those who have already gone through the process: when should i schedule myself to take it--mid-fall? as early as possible? how important are the scores to grad schools (based on personal experience)? do the kaplan courses help at all? are they worth the insane amount of money they charge?
-
hbk/perfect, summerslam 93 (i think).

i'm not afraid to admit it; I LOVED 'CHICAGO'. i love the artifice of it. the sheer energy the whole movie exudes is just amazing. the whole last half of the movie, i could not stop smiling. the acting is incredible in its own stagey way that totally moves away from the more subdued, realistic trend that's been going on forever. the writing is clever as hell. most of the musical numbers fit in perfectly, and in their own strange way don't suspend your disbelief. the choreography is impressive, the editing is pretty mind-blowing, it's just fucking fun to watch. pure showmanship and spectacle, done amazingly well. if people can turn their brains off to watch people blow shit up and spout off cheesy dialogue that no one in the real world would ever be caught dead saying, why can't people turn their brains off to watch people singing and dancing while they kill and stab each other in the back? © snkt
