if you pay attention to the bret/davey match, you can tell pretty easily it's a carry job. aside from an occasional running the ropes, bret does basically all the work for the first 15 minutes or so, and several times you can see him with davey in a chinlock, CALLING the spots. davey is also obviously not in the best of shape, blowing a back body drop & a top rope...something, i couldn't even tell what it was supposed to be.

i don't remember the mayhem match being very good at all. both guys were obviously tired, & it just went from submission hold to submission hold without any flow or direction. once they combine bret's 'suplex reversal to german suplex' spot with benoit's 'rolling germans' spot, it gets REALLY good, but that's only for the last few minutes.

i don't think there's anybody alive who has a more impressive style of visuals & editing than aronovsky. i'm not a fan of his writing, but i'll still definitely check this out if it's ever released.

it's a music artist. anyway: i don't see why anyone should care anyway, since blender, as a music magazine, sucks. their reviews suck, and their interviews suck even worse. it's totally lacking in any actual content whatsoever. it's fun to read because the layout is flashy and it has lots of pictures. just like their cousin maxim, they're more concerned with pretty photos and making excuses to spout off clever one-liners (which aren't that clever anyway) than doing anything meaningful.

i think it's something similar, but more the fact that molly looks more like a real person than the other divas. she looks like somebody you'd actually see in the real world, not just on tv or in a department store. torrie, sable, trish, victoria, et al look fake. most of us like our girls to not look fake. stacy has the same "i look like a real girl" thing going on, & she and molly get the most love here by far. they both look genuine: the guys who go for the legs & the skinny girls like stacy, the guys who like the big tits and asses like molly. stacy's got a better face, but molly has an interesting "girl next door" thing going on, which lots of guys (including me) go nuts over. that's my theory anyway. and for the record, i used to think stacy was the hottest till i saw her at a house show, and she looked like a twig. at the same house show, under the same lights, molly looked great.

i did i did! 'bitches brew' seems to have a reputation as an essential album (i.e., people own it who don't own have any other miles albums or jazz albums), but...i don't know if i could tell somebody "you must own this." no 'sticky fingers'? i'm not a floyd mark, but i'd argue that 'the wall' is more essential, just cause i think it has better songs on it. before it turns too pretentious about 2/3 of the way through, there's some great stuff ("hey you," "goodbye blue sky," "young lust," & almost everything else).

it's a completely mental thing. her physical build doesn't matter, it's her personality that makes her willing to take shit like that: codependency, low self esteem, etc. not everyone who's built big has this "i don't take shit from anybody" attitude, especially in relationships.

i'd say the doors, cause some of morrison's lyrics are just horrible ("the blue bus is calling us, driver where you taking us...ride the snake to the lake..."), and they didn't do anything that the velvet underground hadn't done before and done better.

i remember seeing an edge/big show match on smackdown, and it was good for what it was worth (i.e., an imitation of the standard "shawn michaels v. big man" formula). edge bumped around a lot, and had a nice little babyface comeback, with the 3 spears in a row(~!), i had no complaints. of course, it might just be because i don't hate edge.
