My HHHate tells me that the only reason HHH jobbed 3 times in a row to Batista was in turn to defeat Cena at Summerslam. Aside from Triple H, who else is there? All I can think of is Jericho.

The true test will come with Cena. I have a feeling Triple H did all this with Batista so he can get to beat Cena at Summerslam.

He would have to come back with a gimmick where he talks about how he was too good for wrestling and beat everyone there was to beat, etc. But now he sees new guys taking his spot, who need an asskicking (Cena, Batista, etc.) and he needed to come back and teach them a lesson. Something along those lines.

how is that game? I've actually never played any OOTP games. And is it free?

I wouldn't say RBI's are useless. It's not like any Joe Schmoe can hit 3rd in a lineup and drive in 120 runs. There's a reason nearly the same guys are at the top of the RBI statistics each year, despite changing teams or the players hitting in front of them changing. Lee this year is hitting .309 with a 1.020 OPS with RISP, with 8 HR's. That's the name of the game, scoring runs. I don't think RBI is the be all end of all of stats and I don't think it is among the most important things to consider for a player, but it should definitely be a factor.

One thing I'm surprised hasn't been mentioned and is so overused in nearly every TV show.. Character A badmouths Character B to someone else, thinking Character B isn't in the room. Then Character B comes up behind them and hears the entire thing, and Character A acts like it was all a big joke.

Does anyone think we'll see the resurrection of ECW on Smackdown? You've already got Benoit/Eddie/Rey/RVD/Taz over there and a bunch of mid-carders that could fit in, just move over 'Taker, Booker T and Big Show to RAW and bring a few more ECW guys to Smackdown.

Smackdown is screwed...hopefully they turn it into an ECW show.

I feel the same way and many others I talked to at the bar tonight did too. It's like, if this all goes away tommarrow and we're back to regular old WWE, Batista vs. HHH... I think people are gonna shit all over it. Fans clearly want ECW.

Dude I think I saw Bob Barron.. right after JBL says something about ECW fans e-mailing each other talking about being hardcore, they show the crowd chanting "Shut the fuck up" and Bob Barron (or his identical twin) is standing there with a dull look on his face doing nothing.

What an awesome event. My biggest worry is the DVD will be edited to all hell. Most of the entrance themes will probably be edited out, as well as most of the crowd chants.
