  1. I see HBK using the turnbuckle to kick off of during the Masterlock and pinning Masters. HBK will say he won, Masters will say he never broke the master lock leading to a match at Unforgiven.
  2. Speaking of that, I bet that's what's going to happen to him. They'll give him a short push letting him do his Straight Edge stuff, then once they get tired of him, Austin will do a segment with him, Stun him, pour beer on him and then he's back to Heat/Velocity.
  3. CM Punk vs. Stone Cold would be a great feud.
  4. I'd like to know this too. People on various forums keep saying stuff like this but I've never seen any HHH comment that would even lead me to believe he knows who Punk is, much less is a fan of his. BTW.. is there any word on what his gimmick might be yet? Are they just gonna let him be CM Punk or is he going to get some corny Simon Dean type shit?
  5. I wasn't impressed at all. I mean the guy botched a fucking clothesline against Funaki. That's the easiest damned move in wrestling.
  6. here's a few of my favorite Rock promos. If you guys can find the old VHS tape "The Rock Says", BUY IT. It has a ton of great promos/segments with Rock from his original run with NOD, his face turn, and then his Corporation run.
  7. Well I think we can rule out the page being hacked. I mean someone would have caught wind of it and fixed it by now.
  8. Wrestlezone.com says this... PWInsider says this..
  9. I've never heard WWE mention a promotion that they don't own, and I'm sure WWE has some input on what Jericho puts on his website, so it would seem a bit odd for them to be doing this.
  10. I normally hate all kinds of backstage politicking, but considering it was done against Shawn Michaels, I'd just like to say kudos to the Hulkster.
  11. I don't buy it. This is Hulk Hogan we're talking about, not some guy like Benoit or Jericho. Hogan plays the game better than anyone and I highly doubt he'd let something like that happen.
  12. What's the story with Hardy-Edge anyway? Was the corner bump by Hardy legit? It looked to me like he totally blocked it with his hands and it didn't even hit his face.

    Seether

Maybe this is something most people already knew, but they just started getting played out here in California so I'm hearing them for the first time. So I hear their song "Remedy"... and holy fuck, are they not the biggest Nirvana rip-off on the face of the earth? When I originally heard the song I actually thought it was like an unreleased Nirvana song or something. These guys try wayyyyyy too hard.
  14. KROQ Inland Invasion 5 on September 17th.. Beck, Bloc Party, The Bravery, Garbage, Jet, Oasis, 311, Weezer and The Arcade Fire are playing.. I forgot who else, but there's a few others.
  15. I think that is a very good question you bring up despite the fact that you don't seem to think that it is one. Who IS going to be the face in that match? I'm sure both will go in as faces technically, but I mean who will the majority of fans support? You say Austin, but as of right now I'd think it would be Hogan. It will be interesting to see how that aspect of the match plays out. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think Austin would be. I mean when does he ever get booed? He's the type of guy where if they try to have him go heel and beat the shit out of Hogan with a chair or something, he'd get cheered MORE.
  16. I don't think there's any way Hogan would go over Austin. Austin is sooo going to be the face in that feud , no matter what he does he never gets booed, and fans would be pissed if he lost.
  17. Actually I have cable internet, but I have tried unhooking my modem and them re-connecting it, to no avail.
  18. Everyone keeps talking about how the "old Shawn" is back. Of course I'd love to see that, but I don't really think he's turning heel.. maybe playing more of a heel in the feud with Hogan, but I don't see a full-blown heel turn coming on here. His beef the entire time has been solely with Hogan, and it's all based on how Michaels says he has gone out every night and given everything he has for the fans, blah blah blah. while Hogan is busy doing whatever in Hollywood. It seems to me like they almost tried to make people turn against Hogan more than Michaels, but it just kind of went the other way out of fans loyalty for Hogan. Now OBVIOUSLY he was playing the heel in Montreal, but that's going to happen regardless. I'm just wondering what your opinions are on this, it seems to me like a quick thing and then he'll go back to being a babyface.. but I guess at Summerslam he could finally "pull the trigger" and go full blown heel by destroying Hogan with a chair or something.
  19. Ok I've been having this weird problem lately, basically the problem is that I can't always access some websites. Like for example when I turn on my computer and open up my web browser, if I go to The Smart Marks site first, it will work, but if I try going on another site after that, it doesn't work. Say I try to go to Yahoo, if I type in www.yahoo.com the bottom of the Firefox toolbar will say "looking for www.yahoo.com", and after like 15 seconds something will pop up and say "www.yahoo.com could not be found, please check the name and try again." If I'm on Internet Explorer, I'll just get the "Cannot Find Server" page. This goes on for a while, not letting me on any sites, eventually after a while it starts letting me on a few, but it's always a struggle to get on a different website. Because each time it does the "looking up blah blah blah" thing, and I have to wait a while before it ever lets me on. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this and how to fix it?
  20. I'm sure there has been a post like this at some time or another, but I wanted to bring it up again today because I heard a funny JR quote. I was watching the Ric Flair DVD, the match with Triple H in the "Special Night in Greenville" section. After the match Kevin Nash strolls to the ring to attack Trips, and he retreats up the ramp. Stone Cold comes out and tells him he's going to have to face Nash at Badd Blood for the World Title in a Hell in a Cell match.. to which JR blurts out.."KEVIN NASH! TRIPLE H! BADD BLOOD! HELL IN A CELL! MY ASS!!" I'm serious, he says "MY ASS!!" at the end of it. I cracked up laughing because it's so random and so fucking dumb. If you have this DVD pop it in and watch it, it's definitely a classic.
  21. Really? That sucks.
  22. It's obvious he's never had the big impact that was expected when Vince signed him. His "evil GM" character is incredibly stale at this point and I'm just wondering how much longer you all think WWE is going to keep him around? I don't know how long his contract is but I'd assume when it runs out they'll just let him go, he really serves no purpose on the show anymore, IMO.
  23. King Felix is on the mound for Seattle tonight against KC.. 7 k's, 1 hit, 0 walks through 4 innings.
  24. How do you think the course of history would have been different for the WWF? Would he have gone on to win the title back from Austin at a PPV a few months later? Would D-X have broken up? If they didn't, would they have still turned face and got X-Pac/Outlaws to join? Would HHH have ever become a big-star or just been stuck playing second fiddle to Michaels?
