  1. Well, to be fair the set debuted 53 weeks ago at WWE Homecoming.
  2. New logo, new theme, new graphics....but the same old set.
  3. I know it's not confirmed for 2007 since the WWE PPV schedule for 2006-07 was released about 2 weeks before Vince decided to revive ECW.
  4. This show is the perfect way to kick off the 'RAW vs. SmackDown vs. ECW' angle by prompting conflict between them since they will all be there. (I'd assume ECW will win the 3-way Survivor Series match on 11/26 as build for their PPV one week later.) Also, I'd assume Moolah and Mae Young will be a part of tonight's show, considering it's in their hometown of Columbia, SC.
  5. ECW's PPV schedule for the next year looks like this: November 26 = Survivor Series December 3 = December to Dismember January 28 = Royal Rumble April 1 = WrestleMania June 10 = One Night Stand August 26 = SummerSlam November 25 = Survivor Series December 2 = December to Dismember?
  6. I sense Larry vs. Young (Loser Gets Fired) at BFG.
  7. Is that Emory Hale in the ring?
  8. They did announce it will be 'first pin wins' to allow for a copout ending.
  9. "Not ROH, not MMA...Kurt Angle will die ONLY in a TNA ring!"
  10. The woman JJ strapped a few weeks ago on iMPACT! is a referee/wrestler for Dory Funk's school in Ocala, FL.
  11. It will be interesting to see how the crowd reacts since Trish-Lita follows a Cell match.
  12. So the hammer was gimmicked, right?
  13. WTF he broke the sledgehammer?
  14. Perhaps the super-tall Cell is intended to make it impossible for people to even consider doing Foley-like bumps. If you tried it from 30 feet up, you'd have to be scraped up with a spatula. And JR is right, he has called 12 of the 14 HIAC matches.
  15. Why would they make the Cell 20 feet taller, I wonder? BTW, this is the first handicap match held inside the Cell and the first held outside of the United States. HHH is 3-2 lifetime inside the Cell. HBK is 1-1 in the confines of the Cell. Neither of the McMahons nor The Big Show have ever participated in a match contested inside the Cell.
  16. Hey, they made a new Cell.
  17. Perhaps the low ratings for last Monday's closing segment prompted them to move the match down the card. This is by far the lowest spot on the card for a Hell in a Cell.
  18. Hell in a Cell at 9:00?
  19. She said "last year" as in it happened in 2005, not that it happened at Unforgiven 2005.
  20. Well, the BIGGEST roster definitely belonged to WCW. (Past/future World champions listed in bold.)
  21. Had Fusient bought WCW, they would have basically had TNA circa 2004: -A low-quality timeslot (syndication vs. FSN) -A good deal of raw talent -A home base (Las Vegas vs. Orlando) Personally, I think they could have at least kept the company alive to the present day.
  22. Good little match.
  23. Remember, in its 12 years of operation ECW never had a live TV show until June 13 of this year.
  24. I'm sorry, what?
  25. MSG's tunnel has always been too small to hold a tron. For RAW last night they had to construct a separate stage.
