The woman that writes Ashlee's songs, Kara DioGuardi, also writes for Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Raven Symone, Hillary Duff, and pretty much all of the American Idol winners/finalists from the past 3 years. So while she may come up with lyrics, it's mostly arranged by professionals. Think ghostwriting, but lamer.
