As far as adding unknown extras, the people I've talked to that have used it have not seen anything like that. Far as I can tell, it only installs the program and nothing else.

Such as? if you mean adware or things of that nature of its own? I've never heard of/seen it happen.

a good way to get rid of adware and stuff like that is to get an ad blocker. I use AdAware. you can get it here It cleans out adware files that are put in your registry. hope that helps.
