  1. I'll be there. I'm not as excited as I thought I would be (no Armando to love, no HBK to hate), but I'm still stoked.
  2. Anyone recall Shake and Bag Fries from McDonald's? A buddy of mine may go to war over them.....I don't recall them even a little.
  3. Slayer's Box has returned.
  4. ^ I've never seen or heard of it (or I don't recall so), but that's fucking awesome.
  5. Holy shit! Indeed. I came across that too, whilst searching for answers to this question. Pretty interesting story, actually. There was a thread, also, about the other hypothetical (the one not posed by Czech), 'How many 5-year-olds could you beat up?'
  6. (CG, what do the Titans have to do with the Predators?) I'm of the school of thought a team is more likely to be succesful financially if they're the only show in town. Had the Titans not played in Nashville (which I eluded to), it would have added to my case.
  7. I say jersey. But that doesn't make Czech wrong. I was kind of surprised to hear they were going to be sold, although the subsequent idea of the sale of the Bucks to Leopold kind of puts it into perspective. It's kind of hard to believe they weren't doing so well financially, wasn't it? I mean, Nashville doesn't reek of 'hockey roots', but they put a pretty complete team on the ice, with lots of components to success. They had some marquee players in Kariya and Vokoun, and Leopold's playoff guarantee the year before the lock-out seemed to me he was serious about building a winner. Where do the Titans play? If it's Nashville (although I thought it was somewhere else), my final case is blown to pieces.
  8. I'm intrigued to see this new colour scheme, especially the part of it that will make owners' think twice' about their current axe. I don't particularly want to buy a new bundle if the disc on its own is available.
  9. There's really no reason for him to be climbing these stairs. He's just sort of there. The 'grunt, turn around' theory is kind of flawed. This point is going to begin to turn things in circles, but what's down the stairs that's so much better? Incidentally, I emailed an alligator handler from a farm in Florida to settle things.
  10. Go Sens, but I'm seeing a Ducks win in 7.
  11. They're curretnly celebrating their 100th anniversary. Red Pop is awesome. Hell yes it was! And I recall it being ridiculously cheap, something like 3L for a buck and a half?
  12. I had him in my 2004 pool (his rookie year) after a fine year on the Nationwide in 2003. The Golf Channel put together a list of his peers who thought he was the next big thing. He won his first year on tour, also in Atlanta.
  13. Are you planning on kidnapping an alligator to prove/disprove this? Or is this just a poll thing? Just a hypothetical. I'm neither quick, nor stealth, so my kidnapping abilities would be pretty minimal, certainly on something bigger and stronger than me. The fuck is a Dalek?
  14. Few ground rules to consider: - Stairs are normal steepness, eight or ten steps, 18 inches-or-so wide. - Regular-sized alligator, six feet long, foot or so wide. - Hardwood steps (i.e, gator can not gain traction from carpet). - The gator is not hungry and looking for a meal. The gator is not being baited by anything at the top of the staircase. The gator is not exceptionally lazy. I maintain that it's not gonna be able to climb due to the shortness of the front claws. A co-worker insists that the low centre of gravity will allow it to keep moving, regardless of terrain. (That may have been lost in translation). Thoughts? There's a weeks worth of coffee (which forseeably will become six beer for me, as I don't drink coffee) on the line.
  15. Yes! That'd be way better than anything else posted, had Homer Simpson not got caught in a vending machine of it.
  16. Yeah it was. It wasn't anything unique or spectacular, just good pizza.
  17. Although I'm sure it's still available, I haven't had Faygo in about 10 years. I'll leave this one to Carnival, however.
  18. Your winner. Apart from "The Winnipeg Arena's gonna be on fire", nothing on my MSN has ever attracted so much attention.
  19. Im sure this'll sound like a cover-up....I just meant it because she was probably our most prominent poster after Czech.
  20. The fuck? I left dinner with my family and it was 3-0 Sabres. I get home and it's 3-2? Fill me in, Double C.
  21. My God, co-op Guitar Hero is addicting. Baron and I played for over an hour yesterday, some for fun, some to try and obtain achievements. Even when we'd fuck up a note and have to start over on the "100% co-op achievement" it was still fun.
  22. Again, at the height of my markdom, The Brood had a hell of a six-man tag with the Hardys and Hayes in the spring of '99 on Raw....the last before Over The Edge, if I'm not mistaken. It was used as a filler match to calm down the crowd after Triple H beat the casket The Rock was in with a sledgehammer.
  23. I don't remember the circumstances of this.....I didn't even really remember her absense until re-reading this. Which I guess kind of answers my ceremony thread question. She was just quiet for a couple days during this one, right?
  24. Or a memorial? Ceremony? Discuss. I had originally typed "Should Leena have a funeral?" That didn't sound right.
  25. One to go. I had told every person I saw today that Buffalo was winning tonight. I didn't actually see the game, but I anticipated them to come out freakin firing.
