  1. It was going to be one of my poll options, along with my current one, Marty Janetty, 80's guy, and Yeah-uh newscaster.
  2. I meant which cities the following were in. The websites of TSN and the IIHF were of no help. Are the Flames ever going to lose a game? Since December 7, they've lost twice. Twice!
  3. You beat me to it in the Old School questions.
  4. Where are they? They mentioned them during the finals yesterday, but no actual venues were named....not that I didn't believe you.
  5. Why didn't he, outside of the Rumble elimination thing? I think the biggest reason was that he sucked. Since when has that stopped a monster heel push? He had a great imposing look and a great mouthpiece in Cyrus as well. Point taken, though.

  7. I hated the underwated stage, simply because it was really out of place, wasn't it?
  8. By the way, Mike Weir's leading this week's tournament. This entire thing could have been a complete waste.
  9. Since I can't figure out how to add a poll (if it can be done whatsoever), LaParka is your winner! Credit included in my signature until the avatar changes, forseeably when the Masters tournament begins the second week of April. My search for this picture included what could have been a perfect filler avatar: An Old West "Wanted" poster with a question mark in the centre. Next time.

  11. You might have redemption waiting if the 'of course' comes true. Three of the next four are in Canada, and the one that isn't is in the States somewhere.
  12. I was a 10-year-old mark when I said it, but I once said Aldo Montoya and Duke Droese were going to beat Jeff Jarrett in consecutive weeks on Superstars to win the IC title.
  13. Foreman? I got nothin to do anyway. Edit: What if MikeSC comes back or something? I probably shouldn't be the foreman. Or on at all. Fuck it.
  14. Is there a list available of which studios are behind which formats? Aren't there a few using both? Off the top of my head, Disney/Columbia Tristar are behind BluRay.....I'm beginning to rethink saving up for the 360 HD DVD add on. My biggest concern in all of this was that I already had the 360 universal remote, and this way I could have the same amount of remotes and not have to build another shelf for a new unit.
  15. Everyone has a 'shame lay' in their past, especially if done while drunk.
  16. It's number 8 on my all-time top 10 that you asked me in college, which I think I started a thread here for. And speaking of golf, it's contributing to what is going to be, for me, one of the best sports weekends in recent memory. NFL Playoffs, start of the PGA Tour season, World Juniors, Habs play in the afternoon, and I have an unheard-of whole weekend off.
  17. I just saw that today! They never even show a chocolate bar once! Terrible. The Holiday Inn guy might make an appearance in the poll, and Baron may have just taken the lead.
  18. I feel your pain on that. The apartment I lived in prior to my current place had a couple who argued daily. It was funny the first few days, but every day? It wasn't entertaining after that.
  19. I'd forgot about Jeff in May 97 against RVD, which I'm currently watching on 24/7. I also remember them as jobbers against the Truth Commission on Shotgun around the time of the Montreal screwjob. They stole the show, and I even recall a Hardy chant for two jobbers.
  20. Sucked. - Parade of jobs after being at my prior full time job for close to two years, and part-time at WalMart for four (they took me back without a second thought however). - The above made it difficult to obtain two of my 2007 goals: get out of debt, and get better at golf. - A barrage of family problems with my brother and his son that would make Jerry Springer blush. That's basically it, outside of the Benoit thing, which I'm not losing sleep over, but still am in shock by.
  21. Including me. My team is almost the same as last year's. Did I send you a drunken private message about Errie Ball? He's gotta be getting close. Jake Roberts, even though he's wrestling's Keith Richards, just has to die one of these days as well. I know I completely contradicted myself, but come on.
  22. They did indeed extend it, and I'm covered; After nearly 30 minutes of being on hold and talking to Max, the automated voice guy, an agent told me it'd be covered; they're sending a box and it'll take about 3 weeks for repair. That's not terrible.
  23. Red ring today. Happened briefly yesterday, but crossed my fingers and got another few rounds of Tiger out of it. Happened again today, tried it six times, and all RROD. I registered it online, and it said the warranty expired January 31 of this year. Wasn't the warranty just upped to 3 years, or was that only for new purchases? I got mine on December 23, 2005. I'm getting drunk right now, but that won't make my 360 work when I wake up. Suggestions? Also, the place I'm currently renting has a built in corner shelf, on which my tv is kept. I keep the 360 on the floor below it, as open as possible. I'm buying a house in a few months, and looking at some entertainment centres. I've been told not to put the 360 inside a cabinet, as it leads to overheating. Ideally, I wouldn't be purchasing a cooling unit. So, my questions: If I buy a centre, can I leave the 360 in it, even if there's a four or five inch gap between the shelves? Am I better off buying a wall-mount for the television and just building two shelves for the 360 and my cable box? And finally, and this might be a dumb question, but how safe is it to run the component/vga cables through the wall?
  24. Speaking of Yzerman, my roommate went to his folks' yesterday and found all his old Don Cherry videos, including #5 from 92-93, featuring Don Cherry's techno remix - "Who's the best I often ponder? Right now, it's Stevie Wonder! Let's go!" That had to be shared. Both Nikolai Zherdev and my boy Iginla had a chance for hat tricks with empty nets last night, and both took the assist instead. Calgary's win was made possible by a ridiculous amount of penalties by the Ducks. I mean that as a criticism of the Ducks' lack of discipline, not poor officiating.
