Show going out first could happen if they want to save his last full on match for Lashley on Tuesday. It would also be something they can build to for Tuesday and the turn might actually get seen by more than 100,000 people.
So, Fedor's deal with PRIDE is apparently up after the Mark Hunt fight, and his fight with Bodog, in Russia, is likely against Jeff Monson. Any bets on whether UFC will make a play for him?
They can't do anything else with the current Undertaker character. He can't be scared, can't be hurt unless it's against a giant, can't sell anything emotional, so all they really have is the same formula of Undertaker using his 'supernatural powers' to scare the chickenshit heel. They'd have more leeway if Undertaker was willing to sell for people who aren't giants, but that isn't happening.
That cliche is almost never actually true, and it certainly isn't true here. It would be one thing if TNA sent down a big star or a top-notch worker who can actually brag about having some sort of special quality or talent. Instead, they sent down a couple of WWE rejects who the best thing they can do with is recreate an angle that was last able to be effective over eight years ago.
The first one got around 325,000 buys and this year I think was in the 275,000 range.
In any event, with the genius of WWE behind the ECW brand, they'll have gone from 325,000 or so buys to maybe half that at best.
