  1. Neither Rob nor Paul were shooting in the true sense of the word.
  2. I think JBL feels Meanie disrespected in in some fashion when Meanie was in the WWF. Six years ago. Whatever it was, it was something that anyone who isn't a bully would have let drop a long time ago.
  3. Some people liked Benoit v Guerrero. Some hated it. Some just tolerated it. Whichever viewpoint you hold, stop jumping on people who hold a different view.
  4. It's still meant to be Waltman at this point.
  5. And so ends the most exciting PPV of almost the last five years.
  6. I have bad feeling that Austin is going to be the one leading the ECW fightback of the WWE 'Crusaders'.
  7. The only logical finish is ECW standing tall. This might be the one time that WWE actually does the only logical thing. Might be. And it rocks that they used the Metallica version of Enter Sandman.
  8. That was just golden. Paul E was great.
  9. I think some people are trying to come up with a way to explain Tyson losing that doesn't involve facing up to the fact that Tyson is so broken down that he can't even beat someone who may be the lowest ranked boxer in the western hemisphere.
  10. I'd say Tyson could make far more from boxing than he could from just about anything else. If the fight was going to be fixed, it would have been fixed for Tyson to win, and easily. Then the pattern would have been repeated long enough for Tyson to get a 'World' Title shot, and the $$$ would really be rolling in then.
  11. Why? Because Tyson happened to lose?
  12. What tribe does he belong to? The Tribe Of Suck?
  13. Like Ernest Miller. Who Vince loved. And was fired anyway.
  14. I think it would be pretty much the same deal they had before.
  15. TNA going back to FSN is a step sideways, and given that it's not likely they can get on any other network, it's the best step they can take, if not the only one they can take.
  16. Because Orton being a favorite of Hunter sure made him a superstar
  17. Ideally, starting out small with a few house shows than expanding slowly before getting into television is the way to go. But now that TNA have been on TV for a while, to go without TV is a step backwards, and they don't to take any more of those than they already have.
  18. They are on good terms, apparently, with FSN, and could go back on there real soon. Chances are it's their best bet at getting back on TV, as I don't see Spike picking them up. They need to go to FSN on Monday morning, work something out, and get back on TV right away. A shitty timeslot on a shitty network is better than nothing at all. Delaying going back on TV when they have the option of going back on TV almost right away is a terrible idea.
  19. The longer TNA are off TV, the less chance they have of making it. They need to get back on TV as soon as they can.
  20. They had to comp Nashville a great deal. And joint shows with Wildside won't draw significantly more than solo efforts.
  21. Tyson lost to a nobody? Never saw that coming. Nope. Not at all.
  22. Gabe and Doug were ok for the most part. The only thing they did that really got on my nerves was that at least once on every tape, Gabe would use the remark about how it's the little things that separate the good wrestlers from the great wrestlers. I got sick of that by the third tape in a row that had him say that. And Julius Smokes is beyond annoying, and really needs to have his eyes gouged out and get skull fucked to death.
  23. Just not necessarily in WWE.
  24. Even if a guy does get a $100,000 downside, it's not even certain he'll take that amount home. With a lower level salary comes lower level treatment, because there is no financial need to justify giving the guy a push, and that means little if any merchandise sold. Add to that road expenses, and a guy on a $100,00 downside is going to clear less than that. And with Punk coming in primarily because they want to keep him out of TNA's hands, there is nobody in power who is going to be looking out for Punk, because nobody in power was wanting to bring him in, and Punk is going to be lucky to clear $100,000 by much, if at all.
  25. TNA don't tour because they can't draw on the road. If they could make money with house shows or tours, they would be doing house shows and tours already. Is it really that hard to work out?
