Fluff like this should be closed and deleted. If there were pictures or video or any kind of proof of what went on, then it might be worth posting about. As it is, there's only vague suspicion and, at best, a poor attempt to connect this to Rhyno getting fired.

No ‘Director of Authority’, no commissioner, no general manager. There should be none of this promotional figurehead position bullshit, not only because WWE is doing it, but because the gimmick has long since grown stale. Have a matchmaking committee, in storyline, and have it consist of Mike Tenay, Terry Taylor and Shane Douglas. The important part of this angle is that the committee is referred to, talked about, but never shown on camera talking or deliberating. A heel can refer to ‘the match making committee’, and so forth, and say who is on it, but the committee as a whole is never shown. If a controversial match is made, individual members can be interviewed to explain how the match came about, but the meetings themselves are never shown. If a decision about a major match is being made, have a backstage interview waiting outside a conference room, and have them talk about what is going on behind the closed door, and then interview the members of the committee as they leave the room. Tenay and Taylor are the unbiased ones who are totally fair, while Douglas slightly favors the heels, in that he’ll argue things from their position, but without making totally preposterous claims. He’ll be the one making the logical arguments as to how and why certain heels should be in certain matches, so that if a heel is in a major match, there can be a logical and, hopefully, credible argument as to why someone the fans hate is in an important match. For example, with Jeff Jarrett being put in the King Of The Mountain match, it can be explained Douglas pointed out that Jarrett was entitled to an automatic rematch for the NWA Title, but Tenay and Taylor also pointed out that it was never said that it Jarrett had to get his rematch in a singles match, and that is why they made the King Of The Mountain match. If a match has a controversial ending or a disputed finish, interview the referee who officiated the match, and have him explain why he made the call he did. Have him explain a logical and, if possible, at least somewhat sensible reason for why the babyface was DQ’d or why the heel was given the win. The referee’s are meant to be, and should be, the ultimate authority in matches, and so they should be the ones to explain why this match or that match had an ending that people are questioning.

Was there not another pizza place she could call ? Dope her up on Prozac, send her home, and let her piss and crap herself for a while.

It's assumed to be true or likely to happen, but I've seen no credible source confirm it as actually happening yet.

Or girls that are used to getting everything they want and when you don't give it to them or don't treat them like a princess they pout and become a bitch. Anyone who is petulant and/or who has a big ego can be like that as well. Be warned if you don't satisfy their whims, because you'll catch hell for it.

Why is Indy Wrestling So Much Better Than WWE?
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to natey2k4's topic in General Wrestling
Xavier's got a bad rep only because the push he got in ROH in 2002 wasn't commensurate with his ability. He wasn't bad by any means, and was actually really solid in the ring. The problem was that to be at the top in ROH required either a certain level of talent or a certain aura, and Xavier had neither the talent nor aura to be accepted in the position he was put in. -
Jarrett getting rid of a 6 year old gimmick that hasn't worked a lick in getting him over would be a good start. Even if people only remember him from his stint at the tail end of WCW, it'll still be, in their minds, a four year old gimmick, and TNA don't want people tuning in, seeing Jarrett, and thinking, "He's still doing that guitar shit ?"

Why is Indy Wrestling So Much Better Than WWE?
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to natey2k4's topic in General Wrestling
Trying hard doesn't always equate into having a good match. I don't deny that some Indy matches haven't blown away some major WWE matches, because they have, but as a whole, the stuff in WWE is better than what you see in the Indy scene. -
Why is Indy Wrestling So Much Better Than WWE?
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to natey2k4's topic in General Wrestling
Do all Indy guys bust their asses ? Yes. And I'm sure some of them are doing so to try and get a spot in WWE. But there are literally thousands of Indy guys, and while the likes of Daniels, Danielson, etc are, talent wise, ready for prime time, the vast majority are nowhere near good enough. Just because a select few Indy guys, talented as they are, get a lot of deserved praise, it doesn't change the fact that the majority of Indy guys are far less talented than a lot of the WWE roster. -

I'm sure all the guys kill themselves. That doesn't mean they'll have great matches, or are any better than guys in WWE. It's no use Generic Indy worker being able to pull of a million flips if he doesn't know how and why to use those flips. He might be a more spectacular worker than the average WWE guy, but he won't be a better worker. Not always true. You might get a stellar worker being able to pull something decent out of some total stiffs, but to get something great, even the best of workers needs something to work with, and if they're facing a total putz, then the chances of them getting something great out of him are reduced if you limit what they can do. -
It's also why AJ Styles should have a relatively long reign as NWA Champion. For all the talk knocking Styles for being short and not that good on promo's, people who want big guys and lots of talking already have WWE for that. TNA needs to focus on their strengths, which is talented workers who are allowed to go all out.

Indy wrestling isn't necessarily better than WWE, as the majority of Indy workers are leagues below all but the worst on the WWE roster. It's just that Indy wrestlers have a lot more freedom in their matches, and are generally allowed to wrestle balls to the wall, and you'll see a lot more than you'll see out of the typical WWE match, due to WWE wrestlers being restricted to 'WWE style'. -
ECW One Night Stand matches announced

Sign Guy should be there too. "Bubba Ray: AceHole" -
I think he can live with it. I know most people here can.

Give that man a cheroot. Tapping out was introduced both due to the popularity of the UFC, and because the gesture itself was a more animated way of giving up, with tapping out clearly indicating a submission. In kayfabe, verbal quitting to the ref was more ambiguous, and could lead to the misinterpretation of any sound made by the wrestler. The tapping out was designed to prevent any errors when it came to deciding if a wrestler had indeed submitted.

Go to town.

DVD ones suck too, especially that plastic security tag that you have to remove before you can open the damn thing.

This would be the point in thread where someone makes a joke about banning you for having two accounts.

MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to RavishingRickRudo's topic in Mixed Martial Arts
Yes. Off the top of my head there are two great fights, with a bunch of good ones. The only matches on there not worth watching are Renzo/Ohara and Erikson/Skelton, the rest are great. Renzo/Orihara was BORING. Orihara didn't do a thing except hold onto the ropes as hard as he could. Erikson/Skelton was very blah. Herring v Noguiera was great stuff. Constant action, with Nog always trying to go for something, and Herring fighting him off. The stand up near the end was nice. I thought Henderson v Ninja was of a smiliar vein, with the constant ground action, and I liked that fight a lot too. Jackson v Ishikawa was an exciting squash, with the highlight being Jackson going for a powerbomb and a piledriver. Sliva v Sakuraba looked like it could have been a great fight, but the unfortunate ending put paid to that. -
Jimmy Snuka vs. Jeff Jarrett WCW Monday Nitro -- January 10th, 2000 Chalk up another winner to super booker Vince Russo. Snuka gave Jarrett a concussion, and promptly fucked up Souled Out six days later, because Jarrett couldn't wrestle in his three match series with Benoit, which was one of the top two pushed angles going to the PPV. Hollywood Hogan vs. The Warrior WCW Halloween Havoc 1998 -- October 25th, 1998 The worst match of the modern day era in WCW or WWF/E. Just horrible.

The Person Most Responsible For Raw's High Rating
Hunter's Torn Quad replied to a topic in The WWE Folder
Maybe someone who got off on the Viscera deal can try and explain how that will translate into selling tickets or PPV buys, which are the bread and butter for WWE, considering that no matter how high their ratings are, they'll never get the ad dollars that are commensurate with those ratings. -
I think that when Bischoff calls out his 'Raw army', they'll hang him out to dry and let some ECW guys kick the shit out of him. Vince hasn't embarrassed Eric for a while now, and it's about time for his semi-annual humiliation.

He didn't refuse to do the job. He was just making noise that maybe he wasn't going to go through with it. Probably to start controversy more than anything else, Shawn made it known that, even with his injury, he was thinking of not dropping the belt. Taker went up to him and made it clear that if Shawn didn't job in the ring, he would be jobbing backstage instead. Even if Shawn wasn't necessarily being serious, Taker took it seriously anyway. I doubt Shawn really considered not dropping the belt to Austin at that point. Believe it or not, Shawn was serious about not wanting to drop the title. He hated doing jobs, and this one was no exception.

Dixie looks pretty hot. However, the same cannot be said for Trinity, who manages to look more and more masculine with each picture.
