True, but you'd think that would be something Jeff or Jeff's board would mention, either to assuage fears that it's something more serious or to make the story plausible. If it comes out that Jeff's been examined or seen a doctor over this, then yes, he probably was injured as bad as is claimed. He's apparently injured enough to where he's been removed from all current plans. You'd think something that serious would cause WWE to get him checked out by a doctor so they know when they can put him back into their plans. That being the case, I would think WWE would want it out that Jeff's seeing a doctor, or that they plan on sending him to one, because of the botched move, if only to stop speculation that it's something other than what Jeff's side are claiming it to be.

If that's the case, and he is hurting that bad, why hasn't he been sent to a doctor to get checked out? If someone is injured enough to get sent home and removed from current plans, I would think he's injured enough to warrant being sent to a doctor or surgeon to get some kind of physical exam to find out the damage.

If Jeff is injured enough that he's been removed from all plans for the foreseeable future, why didn't he go or get sent straight to a doctor? They say he's been given time off to heal, but I didn't see anything about seeing a doctor in there, which you'd think would happen if his injuries are bad enough that his feud with Umaga was dropped rather than postponed.

I had completely forgotten he was coming back. Then you made me remember. Raw could do with a strong second-tier babyface as well. Someone they can feed to heels to build them up. I doubt it'll be Umaga; I think he'll get to that second-tier level, but not as a stepping stone.

Observer. If he's out for that long, Raw needs a new top line babyface to carry the load.

You should listen to them once in a while. They've praised Nancy Grace a fair bit recently, over the improvements she's made in her understanding of the whole mess. -
That would make sense. TNA knows what will make sense, because they always do the exact opposite of it. A pro wrestlers wife threatens to leave him and take the kids, and he goes all crazy on her. Didn't something like that happen in the news recently?

If Jeff is done with WWE, he'll probably get a call from TNA about thirty seconds after his release.

He was also surprisingly complimentary towards WWE for someone who is meant to have this fierce anti-WWE bias. It was a very good piece, which I think a lot of people should read. -

But look at what a great distraction it's been for certain people. Never mind addressing the real problems or providing ideas for a solution to those problems; much better, and easier, to blame outside forces for being too negative and having an agenda so as not to deal with pesky things like responsibility. In the case of Eric, I'm sure he's just waiting for the right time to talk about how pro-active he was in dealing with the issue of drug abuse when he was in charge of WCW. -

Meltzer's wrong for pointing out that wrestling has a scary amount of deaths and a bad drug problem? And with wrestling's reputation, which the ongoing steroid stories haven't helped with, I can't think of many people who would openly proclaim themselves to be wrestling fans. It's not like people would do that anyway, but with all the Benoit coverage and what could happen with congress, I can see people being even less open about their fandom now than they were before. -

Smell the irony. Maybe Eric should talk about the brilliant drug policy WCW had under his watch. -

Yes, let's bring in a guy who failed the WWE Wellness Policy, was suspended for 30 days, fired, and also sported a very disturbing 'GH gut'. Is this the right time to be hiring a neon sign for heavy drug use? -

Banderas is supposed to be the new monster for James Mitchell to manage, so it's probably him. If it is him, then referring to him as a former world champion is only getting people up to get disappointed. -
I put Thorne in the MITB because mine had two representatives from each brand and he makes for good cannon fodder. Depending on who is getting pushed in ECW at the time, you could replace him.

Congress Asks Vince McMahon For WWE Testing Details & Results

With regard to Jeff Hardy, it's worth pointing out that at the time WWE hired him back he'd been fired from TNA twice for no shows and other disciplinary problems. Jeff has apparently cleaned up his act, at least to where he's no longer considered a risk, but at the time WWE re-hired him, he'd shown no indication at all that he was willing, or able, to do that. It's good that Jeff's turned things around, but it's telling that WWE were willing to look past Jeff's behavior at the time when they hired him on the chance he wouldn't screw up again. Yes, the gamble paid off, but it could have easily backfired. -
WWE title: John Cena © vs. Triple H vs. Randy Orton. I'm thinking Cena goes into the match as champion and beats Orton to retain. Where you go from here depends on where you want the title to go, what you want to do with Cena and Hunter and if Hunter is a heel by now. If Hunter is a heel, and they want to hold off on Cena/Hunter II, then Backlash can main event with Cena/Hunter/Orton and Hunter can cheat to beat Orton to backdoor his way to the belt in classic heel fashion. They can find some way to hold off on Cena/Hunter II until Summerslam, possibly by having Cena and Orton feud while Hunter goes through some babyfaces. World title: Undertaker vs. Edge. Depending on what they do for each man on his return, either can go into the match as champion, but the main selling point is each being undefeated in singles action at Wrestlemania. Unless something major happens, Undertaker will probably go over. ECW title: CM Punk © vs. John Morrison. While maybe not going on for nine months straight, it's likely this issue will still be alive to a a degree come Wrestlemania, so this can be the big blow off with Punk getting the win, maybe in some sort of 'Extreme Rules' match. Raw vs. Smackdown: Bobby Lashley vs. Batista. I'm sure Vince has had fantasies about this match ever since he set eyes on Lashley. Lashley goes over clean. Raw vs. ECW: Shawn Michaels vs. Monty Brown. I'm putting Brown here on the assumption he's getting a big push down the road, and because I think it could be a fun match. ECW vs. Smackdown: Elijah Burke vs. MVP Money in the Bank: Kennedy vs. Matt Hardy vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Umaga vs. Finlay vs. Kevin Thorne. Umaga wins and either challenges Undertaker for the World title, if Hunter is a heel, or challenges Cena if Hunter is still a babyface, with the hype playing off of Cena choking out Umaga just over a year previously and Umaga wanting to avenge the only man to beat him in such a fashion. Ric Flair retirement match: Ric Flair vs. Carlito. It's a year late, but it finally happens. Flair goes over, even though he'll probably want to lose, because people don't pay to see legends lose and a Flair retirement match, with enough serious hype, will draw.
