Ice-T to produce Hasselhoff rap album Ice-T is to produce David Hasselhoff's first hip-hop album. The pair are neighbours in Los Angeles and are said to have struck up a close friendship. Hasselhoff has had some success as a singer, releasing seven albums. He's also said to be very popular in Germany. Ice-T, who was one of the first real hip-hop stars in the late 1980s, said: "The man is a legend. And we are going to show a whole new side of him." The rapper is said to be convinced that the 51-year-old for Knight Rider and Baywatch actor can take on the biggest names in rap, reports The Sun. Ice-T added: "He's gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff - I promise you. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour." http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story...61345.html?menu

And I would assume that you are a fan of the Thomas and Scalia's originalism. Which is now pretty much defunct and obscure, except for on the nation's highest court. So if you wanna really talk whackjobs, look at those two. Scalia has said himself, "You could fire a grapefruit out of a cannon over the best law schools in the country - and that includes Chicago - and not hit an originalist."

Right to privacy? Gender equality? You still haven't said why you think she's a "whackjob."

How is Ginsburg a whackjob? Because she's liberal? Guess you recommended Ginsburg to Clinton? Orin "Bee" Hatch.

From The New York Times editorial: From The Washington Post:

Yeah, it would just be for a backup spot instead of JJ Arrington.
-
No, it's a free league and none of us have played before, I don't think.
-
I guess nobody had Davis because nobody knew if he or Foster would get the carries.
-
Man, my receivers are sucking nard so far. Fitz and Reggie Wayne did jack. Lucky the rest of my team came through. Watch Plexiglass get like 5 TDs tomorrow, because I have him on the bench. Also, I decided to cut JJ Arrington and pick up Stephen Davis. Good move?

And a big thank you to you guys who recommended that I play Carson.

I think I learned in microeconomics that, when making a decision, you shouldn't consider time or resources already spent (opportunity cost?). That is, if the decision was wrong to go to war (as you stated) then continuing on the same course won't somehow make it right. I think those are sunk costs. Don't ask me, I got a 2 on my AP macro because my essay was just "macroeconomics can be rearranged to spell ice raccoon moms." How did I not get a 1? I drew a shitty graph in which a guy was skiing down a demand curve. Test fatigue, I guess. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Ah, the ol' pictures on the AP test. I drew pictures on all my AP Comparative Politics essays and somehow managed a 3 despite not knowing any of the multiple choices, either. One of the essays was about French government. My response was as follows:

It's more important to make the right decision now, whatever that may be, than to make the wrong decision because of previous lives lost.

Fighting the Moral Decay of "Those People" by Hunter Sat Sep 17th, 2005 at 17:00:54 PDT Public drunkenness. Fighting with the police. Drug use, with few serious efforts at rehabilitation. Sexually-related breaking and enterings, and even international smuggling. See, this is the problem with America today. And yes, I know this post is going to be controversial on a liberal site, but I think we simply must recognize the problems with having those kind of people in our midst. I'm sorry, but this is a class thing. It needs to be talked about. It's small wonder we have a breakdown of law and order in this country, when this is the kind of rancid family histories we're dealing with. Is it simply bad parenting? These kids don't have many good role models to look up to -- if you've got noone in your family to look up to other than drug abusers, petty criminals, etc., I really don't see how you can help turning out the same way. Or is it deeper than that -- does genetics play a role? Is a lack of respect for the law more "hardwired" in some groups than others? What about drug abuse, surely some groups are more succeptable to it than others? I'm not sure, but perhaps it's time to administer some sort of tests and find out. Because I'm simply not sure this cultural "melting pot" that is America can stand the strain of all these wealthy white folks invading our neighborhoods and sending things all to hell: Sigh. I just don't know how many more of these people America can realistically absorb. They're infiltrating our government, and they already practically have a death grip on radio and television in this country. Lord knows the police won't touch them, since even the police fear the kind of retaliation these people make it a point to dish out. Tax breaks, lavish business incentives, separate schools -- nothing seems to be having an effect at raising these people out of their natural, debased state and up to the same standards as the rest of us. Is Malkin right? Should we be perhaps separating these folks out from the rest of society, in recognition of the inherent danger they are to our security, our stability, and our moral and social fabric? -
Yeah, all those desert lions lions in the Sahara.

Based on this guy's writing, I would say he came into the situation with a chip on his shoulder and was probably a dick. And goddam, Y2J is right, you'd think you would learn to write at least somewhat coherently in the 20ish years of school it takes to become a doctor.

Yeah, Bacon, I posted in the "Thread which doesn't warrant a comment".
